For years I thought walking into a gym was what I needed to stay in shape, until I found The Sweatbox. One day I searched up kickboxing classes, and clicked on their website, when I read more of what they offered, I had to try my first class. I absolutely loved it ? I have gone to 16 classes and feel my energy is coming back ane I feel so much stronger. I'm 38, a mother of two girls feeling confident again, lost 7lbs and gained more in muscle. I highly recommend this place, the training coaches are all amazing, they really push you each class for the best workout. I have found my happy place.

Unkind staff that lack the common trait of respect.
A simple phone call determined this I can’t imagine going there. I met thieves and drug addicts with more respect than the receptionist.

I didn't know I needed this place so badly in my life. Amazing coaches that truly coach, prices to match, always so clean and let's not forget all the planning that goes into each class - amazing. If you are like me, and need to know how to do things RIGHT and be surrounded by nothing but positive people - this is the place for you. Thank you "The Sweat Box" team. I look forward to my 50's because of all of you.

I am so grateful to have found The Sweat Box. Coach Chris has been an exceptional teacher, and I have learned a great deal from her. Morning workouts are my favourite and Coach Chris makes them fun and motivating. She’s always ensuring you are performing exercises correctly and effectively no matter what level you are at. The nutrition coaching has truly transformed my approach to health, and has finally given me a plan that is sustainable. My only regret was not starting sooner!

I contacted Coach Chris re her nutrition coaching. I had all the right knowledge but the execution started to lack. In 2 sessions (24 weeks) the lovely Chris I have lost almost 14 lbs, several inches and am eating better and with more confidence in my ability to make the right choices for me. I would highly recommend!!

I started going to Sweat Box 2 months after giving birth to my baby girl and I can say this with confidence that it was the best decision for my confidence and strength postpartum! Coach Chris is a powerhouse and somehow is able to watch everyone’s forms.. offer modifications to those who need them ( I know I do! whenever I feel unsure about an exercise, almost like magic, I find coach Chris next to me!) she sure keeps us all pushing harder! I didn’t know I could feel so strong in just three weeks and it is the best feeling so watch yourself get stronger and reaching out for those heavier weights❤️ I have also attended coach Josh and coach Marc’s classes and they are superb too!

The entire team at Sweatbox is so welcoming and friendly. All the coaches are fantastic, but I'm usually in coach Chris' classes (one of the owners). Chris is an absolute #bosslady and has been an incredibly motivating and inspiring coach. I'm finding myself working harder & pushing myself more to keep progressing, and that's thanks to Chris. I dont know how she does it, but even if there's 20 people in the class she still makes sure everyone is well looked after, coaching on form and pumping us all up! I'm not an early morning person, but it's worth getting up for and I always feel better having gone. The community at Sweatbox is awesome, everyone is there to work hard and be supportive. Oh and one last thing - love the playlists every class!

The classes are fantastic! The trainers are all very knowledgeable and are there to help and modify movements when necessary. Definitely recommend this gym

Definitely a recommended one! The coaches were highly trained and all workouts can be done at different fitness level.Make sure to bring lots of water as you’ll be drenched in sweat afterwards. Big thumbsup!!

I wanted to be fixed and I wanted it fast. I was working out and getting nowhere. I thought that I was eating mostly well and felt like I just needed a little bit of help finding the magic key that would finally make my workouts effective so I could lose weight. The magic key was Coach Chris, and she had no intention of giving me fast fixes; she wanted to make sure I have solid foundations in nutrition and health. With Coach Chris I am now able to have more effective workouts, I have become stronger, and I see my emotions regulate better. My mental clarity is improving and so is my sleep. I am no longer focusing on my next meal and instead finding myself being present and focused in my interactions with other people. I still have a ways to go, but this is a journey and no longer a destination. As Coach Chris says “Progress, not Perfection.” As this year comes to an end and I reflect on my choices this past year, I would say joining Coach Chris and her nutrition program is one of the best decisions I made!

Hands down,the best gym in KW area. After almost 2 years not doing any exercise, I started again and I LOVE IT!!! Group fitness classes are amazing ,people in gym are very friendly,owners Chris and Marc such a nice people( they are pushing you that you even don't notice,untill class is done) and you need 3 towels lol. Amazing place,everyone needs to go there. It's worth every penny

This is such a great gym and it’s the people that make it such a welcoming space. From my initial call to the studio, Christine took the time to listen to me, asked questions, and explained everything I needed to know. There was never any pressure to decide or purchase anything, which is refreshing as they want to make sure the studio is the right fit for you first.Once I joined, Alex was my personal trainer for a few months and helped me push myself harder than I ever could have on my own. She explained the “why” behind different exercises and never shied away from fixing my form. Alex made our personal training sessions something I looked forward to (even if I didn’t show it at 8:30 am LOL) and helped me get excited about lifting heavier or simply getting better at exercises. I would do it permanently if I could - thanks Alex!After transitioning to group classes, I see familiar faces almost every class, and the instructors know almost everyone by name. They’ve built a great community here and it shows that they really care about their people. ?
