We hired Jake to paint the garage doors and all the trims and baseboards of a 2 story house. We interviewed at least 4 painting companies before deciding on Jake and it was a wise decision. We have hired many different types of trades people over the years and can confidently say that Jake is one of the best we have seen in the following ways:1. Communication- Jake is very easy to communicate with and he is a good listener. This is a very rare and important quality as it ensures what you envisioned the work to be at the end will happen in reality. When expectations are set clearly at the beginning with many details involved, he does his best to deliver what the client asked for.- Jake is also very receptive and open to customer's feedbacks throughout the job which eliminates room for big errors and having to fix problems after the job is done. When bringing up feedbacks to him, he is not defensive at all unlike many contractors and trades people we have encountered in the past. This saves the home owners so much headache and stress from needing to argue/fight just to ensure reasonable asks get delivered.2. Quality of Work- Jake cares about the quality of the work he performs and therefore does not rush his work just to make more $$$. This was super appreciated as it truly ensured the quality of the paint job that comes out at the end. It also saves the home owner stress and time to have to ask him to fix imperfections which is counterproductive anyways.- He is also good at painting which is important when one is looking hire a painter. (clearly). He has had many years of experience and you can easily tell that he was trained by good painters.3. Cleanliness & Flexibility- Jake is very respectful to clients' homes and really tries to work with the home owners' schedule and lifestyle when he is in to do his work. He is very flexible and accommodating with his work flow to not disrupt homeowners' activities within the house.- He tries to clean up any big messes before he leaves at the end of the work day and will do a construction grade cleaning at the end of the job.4. Work Ethics- Jake showed up and left at the agreed upon time everyday. Many trades people we have hired in the past would show up late, leave early or sometimes just not show up at all in the past. This not only was disruptive to homeowners' life because of delays, it was also stressful to deal with. So we really appreciate Jake's professionalism.5. Personality- When you invite any type of tradesperson into your home to do work, it is very important that you feel comfortable around the person and his/her energy. Jake has a great personality. He is easy to talk to, friendly and down to earth.6. Pricing- Jake's quote was very fair for the level of quality he delivered.- We had hired painters who charged less in the past and you definitely get what you pay for. As well, It was a lot more stressful to have to keep an eye on the tradesperson during the job because of the low quality delivered. For this alone, Jake was worth the price.Overall, we will 100% hire Jake again for future projects and have no doubt that he will be successful in this business with all the great qualities that he possesses.

We had Jake paint two garage doors and the main door as well. I have nothing to say but wow he did an amazing job. He’s extremely honest when it comes to pricing.We called 4 different painting companies and his price beat them all but a long slide. I hired Jake and crew to paint 2 rooms in my old house and I'm so pleased I did! They spent a day doing the prep work of patching holes and sanding and I'm so happy they did because my old walls look new and smooth again.
