Went here for a free trial session tonight. Katie, the trainer on site, was great. She was welcoming, great listener, supportive and overall friendly and a great guide for a newbie like myself who hasn’t been to a gym for decades. The environment was great, and all the folks in my batch were kind and friendly, unlike big gyms where you find it intimidating. If you’re looking for a great place to workout which mixes fun with functional training, highly recommend you check em out.

Six months ago, if you told me that I would be looking forward to working out twice a week, I would not believe you! But that's just what The Four Bells does to you. Awesome community and great coaches who push you in the right way. Lots of laughs. I feel that every part of my body is getting a work out - the programming is really well rounded.

After a severe back injury from an incorrect squat form a long time ago, one which left unable to even bend down to tie my shoes. The pain and fear kept me away from squats and deadlifts, staples in strength training. This setback left a void in my fitness journey, and I was eager to regain my strength.
In my search for guidance, I discovered a gym offering small classes with a unique approach to training. Over a period of a few months, they concentrate on perfecting a specific movement, like the squat. To gauge progress, they measure your performance at the beginning and end of each period. What I particularly appreciated was the variety in their regimen; while the focus might be on a specific exercise, they introduce diverse workouts designed to bolster and complement that movement. They also assured me that good form was very important.
During my complimentary session, I was greeted by Mark (possibly the owner) and Gabby. The environment they've created is genuinely inviting, underscoring their commitment to fostering an inclusive and comfortable space. The gym is well-equipped with washrooms, showers, and storage cubbies for shoes.
Admittedly, I was rusty. The warm-up alone had me winded, and my legs screamed in protest. Sensing my discomfort, Mark patiently guided me through a series of stretches for 10-20 minutes, alleviating the pain. Impressed by their support, expertise, and the measurement-driven approach, I enrolled the next day.
In just a month, the fear and pain that once held me back were gone. I can now squat confidently, my strength is on an upward trajectory, and even my cardiovascular health has improved.
If you're in search of comprehensive fitness instruction that provides tangible metrics of progress, I wholeheartedly recommend this gym. Their approach not only hones technique but also builds confidence in one's abilities.

Highly recommend this gym! The coaches are excellent and the welcoming community of members have all been going for years and come from all walks of life. I look forward to each strategically planned strength class. I especially love the testing of one exercise every 6 weeks, as you will see improvements, which is motivating! The workouts are challenging, but not unmanageable, so it motivates you to keep coming back and push harder. The coaches are also great with modifications and injury prevention (unlike CrossFit or F45 gyms). I have been looking for a gym like this for years and am so happy I made the decision to come here just over a year ago!! Thank you Four Bells!

I made the decision to join four bells about a year ago as I was really struggling with strength and mobility. Prior to the four bells I could never keep up with a regular exercise routine which left me paying for gym memberships I never used. Since joining four bells, I now look forward to my classes and feel genuinely sad when I have to miss one! Mark, Katie and Gabby are amazing choaches who make exercise fun and approachable. It's motivating to see how I'm getting stronger each week. They are all very knowledgeable and create workouts that can suit anyone's fitness level. They're considerate and motivating and can challenge you when you need it. Mark has done such a great job creating a positive and inclusive gym environment. I recomend this place to everyone I know!

You get what you pay for. The friendly environment gently and not so gently encourages you to make it for every workout. I’ve made it to about 80% of my classes because of this.

I joined Four Bells about 18 months ago. It was the best decision I ever made to improve my fitness and overall health. The coaching and variety of workouts is outstanding. There’s a true community feeling and I love the scheduled class times to hold me accountable.

I've been with Four Bells for a little over a year and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made for my health. I've learned how to lift weights and do so safely and with proper form, and I'm really happy with my progress so far. Four Bells isn't the only gym in town that can teach this, but the instruction quality is definitely top notch. It's the culture that Mark and the rest of the coaches have built that is what really makes this place truly special. It is a positive, supportive, and often hilarious place where no one takes themselves too seriously while pushing their fitness hard at the same time. Four Bells gets my highest possible recommendation.

Fantastic gym, fantastic community. Positive accountability where you feel like you WANT to exercise rather than feeling like an obligation. Variety in exercise and expert guidance makes you feel confident pushing yourself and learning new movements.
There is a ton of flexibility in exercises based on skill level and goals, and having a set time each week for exercise takes all the decision making out of your exercise routine. This to me is the ultimate expression of what a gym should be: community based, non judgmental, consistent timing, variety of movements, feedback from professionals.
If you're debating whether or not to reach out, book a free initial class with them and I guarantee you won't regret it. :)

Four bells is the best gym I've ever joined -- and there are so many reasons why. But how about some bullet points about a few of my favourite reasons:
1. Skilled coaches that care: I usually get hurt during workouts due to old injuries (so frustrating!). Mark and Ben care about our safety, but they also value hard work. So they know how to modify a workout to avoid injury -- while also making sure you're still pushing. It's a balance I struggle with on my own, so I really appreciate it.
2. Workouts are creative and functional: Every other gym I've been at focuses on the same series of exercises. Four Bells keeps it interesting.
3. It's fun: This is a big one. The coaches are super charismatic and funny. And the community is amazing, too. So -- even when I'm feeling tired, I still want to show up for my workouts.
I could go on, but I'll leave it there. I highly recommend these guys. :)
