Extremely rude staff. I was given a lecture on how expensive their credit card processing service is. She kept my purchase in her hand after I paid and kept going on and on with a lecture of how expensive this was for them. That it’s just fault that I’m not using debit. No wonder they never recovered from Covid. They kept explaining to every client how sales keep going down. If they fixed their relationship with clients, sales will go up. They are moving to the west end now and I hope they change their ways because they are clearly headed for bankruptcy. Would avoid.

I went in recently and found one of the owners to be fairly rude. I guess the store is closing and they will be moving to their farm. She told me that it was frustrating that she hasn’t seen people come in more frequently to support the store. That people go to Walmart and Costco instead of her store. I understand that it’s a challenging spot to be but being angry at consumers isn’t a fair narrative. Things are expensive, people may not be able to afford the selection there. I left feeling bad myself for not buying anything which isn’t fair.

i was trying to do some Christmas shopping for my mother in this store, and could only stay inside for about a minute. the woman working at the cash was loudly complaining to another customer about Queen's students pulling out credit cards to pay for anything and everything without worry, because their "rich parents would just pay the credit card bill". she went on to say "but I can't say anything to them because I'm supposed to be nice to the students". the other customer looked visibly uncomfortable, and I was appalled by her behaviour. I hope the storeowner or employee sees this review and seriously considers what they talk about and to whom, because they are actively driving away business. I will not be going back to this store.

love this store! The owners are so friendly and are always willing to go above and beyond for their customers. Great products, perhaps some are a little more expensive than you may hope for, but great quality and products you know will last a long time so worth the investment!

Products are delightful. I was, however, offended by being followed about in an obtrusive and intrusive manner by a sales clerk on the floor. I therefore decided not to make any purchases and will take my business elsewhere.

The staff here are extremely friendly and super passionate! I really wanted to get a particular S'well bottle as a Christmas gift for a family member, but it was not in stock. I called the store and they were able to order it in for me! Even with delays from the warehouse, they notified me by phone as soon as it came in and had it waiting for me by the cash. Talk about customer service! Sure, I could have ordered it from somewhere like Amazon or Indigo, but this small business and the wonderful staff deserve every sale! It's amazing have a local store that supports green initiatives.
