Nice small store, you can get gas & some snacks, even toiletries if needed. Along with a pack of smokes if that's what you are looking for. ATM inside the store and bags of ice outside in the freezer, Kinda a one-stop-shop. And dog friendly ! ? ?

The lock on the door is broken. This is a MAJOR safety concern for staff and customers at night. I will not be stopping here until this issue is fixed!!!!
Update: I went to see if this was addressed, given the owner responded. The door doesn't even close now! Clearly this was not looked into at all...

Dec. 9th (2022) I stopped at the Pioneer gas station (2236 Prince St. Kingston) to fill up my Uhaul rental van. At 17:10pm I filled 38.577L on Pump #7 for a total of 51.92$ and went into the store to pay. For some reason, the cashier claimed that I pumped twice: the actual 51.92$ charge and another 50.01$ for an additional 37.155L afterwards. I have no idea what that additional charge and explained that this is a mistake.The cashier did not even let me finish and demanded that I pay for both and was incredibly rude, calling me a liar and insisting that the system does not make mistake and that it cannot be wrong. She did not let me speak to a manager or someone in charge and demanded that I pay for both no matter what.I was going to take a photo of the pump (#7) to prove to her that it still shows the correct "first" amount (38.577L for 51.92$) but she did not even let me go out and take the picture, she demanded that I pay for both before I leave. She refused to check herself and there was no way to talk to her, nor was I connected to anyone in charge.I was under harsh time constraint as I had to return the Uhaul and drive out of town. I unwillingly paid for both charges, went out and took a photo of the pump, which showed the correct "first" amount (38.577L for 51.92$) and not the second charge she claimed. I went back in, showed her the photo, and demanded a refund - She told me she is not refunding me and 'You can call the manager or policy, whoever you want'.Unfortunately, due to the time constraints I had to leave, only do deal with it later on. I saved all the photos and receipt as evidence, and I will send/upload those when asked.If it was just an honest mistake, I would simply ask for a refund, however this entire situation is outrageous and ridiculous, and the employee's attitude and behavior were extremely rude and inappropriate.I will be staying away from THIS Pioneer stations.

Gas was 7c/L more than shown on google. Maybe not pioneer’s fault, but annoying as passed up cheaper gas to come here

The gas was cheap but they left a hold on my card of 5x the amount of what I should have paid for gas; left my credit card useless for a couple of days. Not worth it.

Pioneer is currently giving $10 off for healthcare workers due to Covid 19. I stopped by but was told it's only for hospital workers, not for homecare they didn't even want to see my badge. But some of my co-workers received their $10 off at this same station. I guess they are picking and choosing who they give it to which isn't right. This station has lost my business for good and I'm a regular.

The lady who works there most times I drop in really makes my day. She is cheery...happy ...smiles all the time and wishes you a good day when you leave. Always manages to cheer me up
