Very disappointing experience shopping here for the first time. Went to the store in person to place an order for Crocs with expedited shipping, only to have the order cancelled one whole week later because "we did not have enough stock to fulfill your order". Will not shop here again.

Disappointed. Took my son back to school shopping in the mall and visited this location.Staff didn’t offer help when entering, we had to locate them for change room access. Although they were all conveniently found at checkout, they were full-on sitting on the counters, noses in their phones.Then they failed to properly remove all security tags from our purchases, insisted on searching all our other packages even though their bag was beeping, and didn’t repack my breakables with soft items underneath and 2 mugs from Marshall’s ended up broken. Love Boathouse. Worst staff ever at this location today.

Today (Monday October 17th) I was shopping at the boathouse located in Kingston Ontario at the cataraqui Centre. It was at about 1:30- 2pm ish. There was a girl with a lip ring working as well as a girl with black glasses working (not sure of their names). I was shopping for fleece lined crocs. It was the girl with glasses who was helping me. I was undecided for about 15-20 minutes. While I was still deciding, the girl with glasses came up to me and in a serious and condescending way said “are you okay, like, mentally?”I wasn’t doing anything abnormal. I was being kind. I was just looking and trying to make a decision. I was taken back and ended up just buying the ones in my hand which weren’t even the ones I wanted because I was in shock. Tomorrow my mother is going back and exchanging them for the ones I wanted.As someone who has mental health issues, this is absolutely not okay to ask someone. Especially a customer. I was just trying to shop. I wasn’t being rude. I wasn’t doing anything abnormal. I was trying to make a decision.I sincerely hope that someone talks to this woman and gets her written up or something. This is seriously not okay.

Great deals when shopping online at the webstore! I have found some really nice and stylish and also very comfortable clothes with excellent sale prices. From underwear, to new Nike Air sneakers, to winter boots, to comfy pants, to comfy jogging pants, and some flossing shirts of various styles and by various designers. The online promotions they usually have can't be beat as well as the promotional prices of the clothing selection Boathouse has to offer. I just wish that they had more jeans for men to choose from and more styles of comfy pants or jogging pants. They have a nice line-up of spring and summer clothes too I will need to check out as the season's quickly change. But overall, I am really pleased with all of the great deals on winter wear and casual wear and outwear and also on shoes that I've ordered from Boathouse recently. And an even more awesome added bonus is that Boathouse has partnered with financing service Afterpay which makes shopping online participating retailers a much more convenient and affordable method to help customers make the purchases they wish and paid in installments over a short period of time. Afterpay is very accommodating and will gladly work with customers to manage your payment schedule or help to reschedule your payments to be made on dates that are more convenient for their clients utilizing their financing services offered as method payments at select retailers such as Boathouse. I would definitely recommend this store for people who like to stay trendy and also like to find excellent sale prices and promotions on this retailers ever growing merchandise catalog. Thank you, Boathouse! You're so cool!

Honestly, I think I’ve officially given up on this Boathouse location.Today I went to find a pair of shoes for my fiancé. The website stated that they had them in stock in store, so I scurried up to go and get them.I walked into the store and was greeted by someone- which was basically just telling me to come into the store.I immediately beeline to the shoe wall, to see if I could find the shoes I had in mind. It took over 15 minutes for an associate to come and ask me if I needed assistance, as they were too busy gossiping up front with another customer or sales associate that was off duty. Honestly, it was hard to tell who the third party was, however when I left the store I noticed she didn’t have any Boathouse products or bags, so I guess she was just there for a social gathering.Anyways, the associate went to the back room to see if the shoes I had in mind were back there- sadly they were not. No problem. At this point, I would expect the employee to offer to order them and have them either delivered to my home or available for in-store pick up. She did not. Basically, she sent me on my way to go back to her social hour.Needless to say, I ended up going to a competitor and got the shoes I was looking for.This is the second instance of this happening at this Boathouse location- I will not be returning.
