Having recently relocated to Kenora, I was pleasantly excited to discover this local bookstore, which was such a welcoming site! I absolutely love how Elizabeth has cultivated the feel of the space, with multiple rooms, each with their own unique character and books genres/titles they hold, from century old novels to recent periodical, form Archaeology to ancient Greek plays, Elizabeth carries it all. Moreover, how the space is designed, every time I visit I literally discover something new. Elizabeth is a kind soul with a warm heart. Please, come by and check out this store as you will be hooked just as I was from the first visit.

The owner's dog was loose in the store and harassing my children, trying to bite them. I was disappointed she did not control her pet. We had to leave early because her dog was being a nuisance.

Beautiful store that goes on forever! So much artwork and knowledgeable staff who can tell the story of artists and much of the artwork. Plenty of old books (probably new as well but I was looking at art)! I love that my several purchases not only help out local artists, but also help out a local business owner and her employee! This store is the epitome of "shop local" as things don't appear to be mass sourced and most things are antique, vintage or one of a kind!

Lots of selection, books & art, several rooms on 2 or 3 levels, but not well organized, and a lot of the space is not accessible to anyone with mobility devices, especially the stairs. The one employee we saw wasn't very helpful, and didn't seem to care that we couldn't get to the sections up the stairs, didn't offer to help us locate what we were hoping to find.
