Our modern creamery was built in 2005 and our first cheeses, Niagara Gold and Comfort Cream, went to market in December, 2005. Located in the heart of the Niagara wine region in the village of Jordan Station, the creamery sits directly adjacent to a rail line that, in the past, would have been used to transport fresh milk every day. Upper Canada’s creamery has been built to the most rigorous food safety standards, is federally regulated, and is both state-of-the-art and small scale. Our mission is to create fine cheeses by hand and then to ensure that these premium cheeses are widely available.
