Also transferred my prescription and filled it promptly, when we were travelling through the area.

After being subjected to showing my receipt from Walmart for bananas that were poking out the top of my bag I am leaving a negative review. The young lady at the self checkout at Independent took it upon herself to assume I STOLE the bananas and demanded to know what store I got them from and to show her the receipt for them... which I begrudgingly did. I was not offered any apology for her wrongly suspecting and accusing me of theft. This female employee has no respect or consideration for customers. I will not return to the store after being a loyal customer for over 5 years and will not recommend others to shop here. A little manners and respect could have went a long way, there are much better ways to deal with situations than to publicly humiliate paying customers. Shame on you.

My boyfriend bought bacon, (no he did not check the expiry date.) when he got home I immediately opened it and the smell was horrific. I then look for the expiry date and it expired Aug 18, 2024. Almost a month ago.

We find everything. There is a good choice of quality cuts of meat! Grocery shopping costs me more than elsewhere but in general the experience is superior too.

The meatus section was almost empty. Fruits and vegetables seem good. The rows are mixed. This grocery store didn't impress me, but the young man at the checkout was very cute yum
