I was directed to Summit for custom exhaust work and some fluid maintenance. The prices I was quoted I found to be very reasonable and agreed to having the work done. They got the work done in the exact amount of time they said, and came in under budget, too! The exhaust work was very clean and the sound is exactly what I was looking for. Would highly recommend them for more than just transmission services as well!

I have an old corvette that had transmission problems and was worried about where to take it.
My mechanic suggested Summit Transmission.
All I can say is that it was great advice.
They did an awesome job with my vehicle in a short time at a fair price
And when I picked up my car, it was washed and waiting.

I had my car to 2 other transmission specialists, 2 rebuilds, and 2 mechanics try to fix my Cougar, and they failed, Larry and his son Larry Jr had my baby for 2.5 days, and they not only found and fixed the issues the other guys failed too they also took time to discuss some options for my build going forward. The rates are fair, work is meticulous, and father and son are very personable as well as informative. I couldn't recommend them more!

Dropped off my car short notice to summit to have the transmission inspected and repairs. I went 2 and a half weeks of not being followed up with (having to call for updates) to finally be told that they couldn't find the parts for my transmission. I then called volkswagen immediately, who supplied me with every part and every part number I need. Found the parts for the transmission shop (kind of odd for a customer to have to do)Fast forward to them receiving the parts, they then take my transmission out and take it apart. Which I told them they were free to do right as I gave them the car. For them to tell me that my transmission was beyond repair as the cost in parts had now increased as more parts were needed.They couldn't find me a transmission and I'm not sure how hard they looked. Within a week of hearing that, I had sourced and got delivered a used transmission to them to replace (second time I had to find parts?)They finally get my used transmission in, and finish the car.I received the car one day short of a month later, not in the condition I had left it with them, my car was professionally polished and sealed a few months prior to the transmission repair . I now had a nice collection of scratches on my rear quarter panel.So if you're willing to wait, possibly get your car scratched (0 responsibility taken) source your own parts, and have to inquire for updates, then go to them. I only brought a golf r here, I would not bring high ticket hotrods to them that they claim to work on and take care of. The transmission job was done sufficiently, but at this point i would never return or recommend anyone. Of all the shops I've ever dealt with , this was the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Excellent, honest, and professional service. Larry took the time to call me and keep me informed of the repairs every step of the way. His attention to detail and ensuring everything is done right was incredible and the repairs were completed in half the time I was expecting. It's rare to find a shop so dedicated. He also took the time to show us the broken parts and how it was causing the problem, it was a great learning experience. Prices were very fair too.

100% Recommend. We bought a used car for our 16 year old and something just wasn't right with the engine. I'd say my husband is pretty handy and knows his cars. So he took it there; the owner hopped in the vehicle, and not even 2 mins down the road knew exactly what it was. We can't thank you guys enough.

They were able to identify and give advice on a path forward to rectify the problem with my interest in mind first. Great People, Great service. Owner took a test drive with me in a truck I was looking to buy. Because of his and his son's time (no charge) I was able to secure a good deal on the truck and get the dealership to fix and pay for everything. Thanks Larry! will be back for a my future maintenance.
