Bobbys Jamaican Cooking Show and my family love to shop at this Sobeys store. The staff are very polite with great customer service.

Wayyyyyy over priced for everything by $2-3. If you purchase a family meal from hot food section you get a whole chicken, large wedges and a salad for $19.99 but if you buy a large container of their wedges on their own it's $16. That's absolutely ridiculous!!!!!! Gauging consumers money when we are in a time of inflation where everything has increased to a ridiculous level especially for food. Wedges were cold too. Onion rings that were old and burnt were $5 for a small container. Would not recommend at all.

Cheese on sale but bad. I bought it on Sunday, September 1, 2024 and I opened it on Monday, September 2, 2024 and it was bad. Misleading offers. You have to check to see if everything is expired.

After 12pm and 7pm the hot meals are discounted. Very great sale prices. I like them cause great discounts on meat too

Store is clean and tidy, however, went to buy an item on sale, I looked around for a max limit sign but did not see one so I grabbed 6 of item. While at the self checkout I was just about to pay for my items when the self checkout cashier came marching up to me saying I was only allowed 4 of the item and pushed her way between the screen and I to get to the items I had scanned through so that she could take 2 of the item back. I explained that I didn't see a sign in the store anywhere for a max limit and she exclaimed it was in the flyer. My sister who was with me said she wanted to buy the two that the cashier took and the cashier gave some attitude about having to go to another checkout to do so. As my sister walked up to another self checkout the cashier marched up and stopped my sister from scanning the items. The cashier abruptly told her she had to go to an actual cashier to check out the two items. I understand limits, but please make note of them in the store. The attitude and the abruptness of this employee makes me never want to step back into this store again.

Sobeys is a very clean store which has a lot of workers tho is seam that some of the workers are not very nice to customer. I go to Sobeys every 4 days a week because it’s the closest supermarket.

Arrived in Hamilton Tuesday evening after two days on the road. Every one was exhausted and had no idea what they wanted but definitely NOT Chicken!!
The two folks at the hot food counter where two of the nicest most helpful people I could have hoped to meet!

This is probably the worst sobeys I have been to. Service is hit and miss. Some are amazing some are miserable. Produce is well under par for prices, I mean I have been here a few times and only go here if in a rush because of the astronomical prices, but weather's it's produce, flowers, meat, correct prices beig scanned. Most recently bought a bag of potatoes, open it up 2 or 3 were soggy, next day 4 or 5 were. Never enough time to return just a big hassle. Time before, bough Vidalia ongions, thought they were on sale, scanned 3 times higher, cashier called to confirm, person i produce said I was wrong, I insisted and cashier went over with me. We arrived and worker was changing to the correct sign. Would not honor lower mis price. Again no time to wait for manager so I left.
