Found some items for camping, somewhat fair prices overall. Would have been more stars, but parking is not the best, even "unsafe conditions." I was approached 3 different times by homeless ppl, begging for money, getting quite aggressive. There came a point where I was threatened and had to call the police (I was by myself and this insane man would NOT allow me to get to my car which was parked in their parking lot. He threatened to HURT.) The whole experience was terrifying!

Pricey for the downtown area. I can buy new at Giant Tiger for less on clothing and shoes. Great decor items. Electronics should be thoroughly tested before pricing and selling.

Clothes and linens are overpriced but with regular visits you can still find deals.
Housewares are better priced, nice that they try to colour coordinate the shelves. Be careful to check any electric or electronics due to their As-Is policy...no refunds.

I was basically accused by the manager "matty" in front of other customers of stealing an item as I was paying for my purchase at the counter ................. Until, I plucked the item in question off of one of the shelves, and handed to the wee fool!
I was told by Kat that an item that was clearly priced in the display case had to priced by someone in the back, I said okay, and that I would return to the store shortly to purchase it. When I returned to the store an hour later I was told by Kat that the item was copper and would cost $30, I said okay, where is it? Then I was told by her that it had just disappeared, image that! I confronted the manager Craig who didn't seem to really care that one of his staff was blatantly lying to a customer. I have been shopping at the downtown location for probably over 15 years and have not had any problems with the any of the staff except for this one employee "Kat", who I have heard other customers complaining about, what a loser! I would leave zero "stars" but cannot leave the post.

Tidy store with decent stuff at good prices--not as cheap as they used to be, but sure their expenses have increased just like everyone else.Still a good spot to find a bargain, I always take a wander through when I'm in the area.Not the best selection of kids clothing, but good range of styles for ladies.

Not a lot of selection for men's clothing, I went in to buy a cheap sweater to be surprised by the "High" price of used clothing.
Your customer base are low income people, lower your prices.

So funny. I found this, and brought it up to the counter, and the worker said it was 5$. Went over to the other worker, and asked if i could get it for 2$. (Poor rn and not sure if my computer will even play blu rays) and they said “i guess u get it for the cheapies price” and then proceeded to mock us for wanting to pay 1.99, because there was literally a sticker that said 1.99.
Rip Cheapies, the real thrift store of Hamilton.

You sell items from dollarama that cost more here than dollarama, I’ve donated many times and come back to shop around or to donate again to see the items I have donated costing more than what I even bought them for.I think who ever does the pricing needs to do more research on the items being placed in here.

A lot of items from retail stores with tags, slightly over priced for my liking. The people working there tip off the regulars about what's coming in. They also let my friend off without paying the whole amount due.
