Their knowledgeable and experience both in and out of the store is exemplary. They don’t try to sell you a pet to just make a buck. They will try to make sure you understand what you are getting yourself into. I got my two conures from them and they are happy and in good health! I always go back to them when I need anything; including grooming. If I ever need to find a place to board them, I know my babies will be in good hands with them.

Every time I go, I want to get another pet! The birds, the lizards, and snakes and fish are all so interesting and in very good health.

I am dissatisfied with the hair style Chris gave though he had put in the work and covered all the areas that needed to be done. His work was thorough. But my puppy’s face looks so bad right now I dont recognize him. I had clearly requested him by showing a picture for reference even, to leave my pups muzzle hair on. But he decided to go ahead and trim it down to zero. Sharing my dogs before and after pics. I am giving 3 star coz Chris decided my dogs look for me, which sucks.

Our dog had a very poor experience with our last groomer and we wanted to try here. Isabella was so amazing with our dog!!She took great care to make sure he was comfortable and did an exceptional grooming job. You can tell she really cares about the animals she is grooming. My wife was saying how kind and playful she was being with him when she didn't even know my wife had arrived.She was also very clear in communicating about how our dog was doing and any issues. This was such a refreshing experience after our dog's prior traumatic experience at a different groomer. We will definitely return for all our dog's grooming and highly recommend Isabella.

Not everyone knows how to groom the different breeds and even in Toronto Beaches where every other dog was a golden, they still didn't all know what they were doing. I am thrilled with the result and will be going back.

9 Richwill Rd, HamiltonI am so happy I found this grooming salon! I recently moved to Hamilton and it felt like no groomers did cat grooming but I am so incredibly thankful that I found this place! Not only was the booking process so easy, from the very first phone call I felt very taken care of and all my questions answered. They were so accommodating with finding an appointment that fit my schedule. Then when I came to the salon, my Persian cat immediately felt the love and got lots of cuddles, which not only calmed him down but helped me feel so comfortable right away. She was so quick, did her best to make my cat feel comfortable and get it over with as quick as possible while giving him a beautiful cut! My Persian cat got a lion cut and he looks as cute as ever, I am so incredibly thankful to have found our new groomer!

I could tell that she is very passionate about her profession and care for the animals. She provided me with a variety of treatment plans for my cat and was very gentle and caring with him. I felt that she was fully invested in my cats well-being and gave us her full attention for the full 50 minute appointment. I would definitely recommend Stoney Creek Animal Hospital to pet parents!

780 Hwy 6, HamiltonI CANNOT say enough good things about the amazing people at Clappison Animal Hospital. I spent a morning calling every vet in Burlington/Oakville and Dundas only to be told they had no spots or no bets working. Amazing thing to hear when you have an ailing pet. Not one asked about my dog, or what the issue was. Not one except for Clappison's. Not only did they show genuine concern, they worked with their appointments to make room and get him in asap. I can't thank them enough, and I would recommend them to everyone! I didn't take the pic at Clappison's, but I figure a review of a vet should at least have a pic of my dog. Lol

Beverly is so accommodating when I call and ask to leave Milo for a couple of days. We have been able to take many trips to Dominican because of Beverly's kennel. I always feel that my dog is in good hands when we leave. Beverly's kennel has the best prices in the city. I would not trust anyone else with my dog. Thank you Beverly, love the Galesic Family. ❤️

I placed a large order as a Christmas present for my husband (knowing he loves the beer here and it can often sell out at our local shop where we get it in Toronto). Unfortunately the order got lost somewhere in transit by the courier. When I called Fairweather to inquire if I could re-order but send via a different courier to insure delivery by Christmas they went above and beyond by not only resending the package (without additional cost) but also hand delivering it to Toronto that evening. All of their food is delicious and prepared with great attention to detail by their kitchen staff. My personal favouritesare the Burger (highly suggest getting the waffle fries) and the spaghetti fingers (an absolute must try in my opinion), and save room for the sticky toffee pudding for dessert!
The seating is spacious and comfortable, and their washrooms are kept in an immaculate level of cleanliness.
I stop by Bernie's every time I am in Hamilton, and you should too. You won't regret it

National Pizza Place
3 King St E, HamiltonIt was lunchtime. I was walking down Kings Street looking for a place to eat with halal options. National Pizza Place is a small place with a counter by the window and a couple of stools. I hesitantly walked in and asked for halal food options. I was told by a friendly voice behind the small serving window that everything was 100% halal. I ordered a pizza slice. It was quickly heated in the oven. I was asked if I would like hot sause or garlic sause. I opted for both.
I ate at the counter and was surprised by the food quality and flavor. While I ate chitchated with the owner. I forgot to ask his name. Next time I'm in Hamilton, I will return and try your chicken wings.

Spring Sushi
1508 Upper James St, HamiltonWe recently tried ordering takeout from this Japanese restaurant for the first time. The website was user-friendly and easy to navigate, making the ordering process simple. I placed my order for a specific pickup time, and everything was ready right when I arrived. However, one aspect of the payment process was confusing: tips. This was a self-pickup order, so I was surprised to see tip options starting at 15-18% during checkout. There wasn’t an option for 0%, which felt strange since I was picking up the order myself. I didn’t see why I should be expected to tip when I was the one driving to the restaurant, collecting my own order, and serving myself at home.
Fortunately, I discovered that after selecting the lowest tip percentage, I was able to override it to 0%, which solved the issue. Still, it’s an odd setup for a takeout experience.
Regarding the restaurant itself, the atmosphere seemed pleasant, and I’d like to visit in person with friends sometime. The sushi was tasty, and the ingredients appeared fresh. However, half of the pieces didn’t hold their shape well—possibly due to being packed for takeout—but even in the photos, they weren’t presented as neatly as I’d expect. That said, the quality and flavors were satisfying, so I’d be open to trying them again.

My review is based on the service of the employees at the license portion of the building. I have always been met with friendly,helpful service. The location is very good being in a quiet area of the city and there is always plenty of parking.
