I live near the Upper Gage Metro, however I make the drive down to Centre Mall Metro. This store offers MUCH MORE of a selection in grocery items, fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry and seafood. Their seafood section is amazing! I purchased a HUGE ass freshly steamed lobster this summer for $10.99. This is the only store that sells Brazilian Picanha steaks ( top sirloin steaks,) however they don’t offer them on a regular basis. I wish they would! ?. Metro Centre Mall is definitely worth the drive down the mountain!

Dealt with 3 different employees here today. Every person was readily available to help us find what we were looking for from Tuna Steaks, to Whip cream for our pumpkin pie and checking out it was a pleasure to shop here! Very clean and organized store. I really wish I wrote down everyone's names! But Thank you again and Happy Thanksgiving!! ?

Went there Friday to pick up some already made Salads and a cooked chicken.
When I was looking through the dips I found a dip that was completely moldy. I gave this to one of employees. I should have known then just to stay away from the pre-made food. Picked up a Selection potato salad and a Coleslaw. When I brought it home and made dinner I found the both Salads were expiring. The potato salad tasted off. For the price they charge for the pre-made food you expect better quality. What a disappointment! Won't be shopping there again.

Bought a bottle of Rufino Chianti. It had gone bad and was clearly rancid. Only drank a sip to know it had gone bad. Went to return it to this Metro. They would not return it even though the product was bad. Lesson learned: buy your wine from the LCBO where they stand behind what they sell. Metro clearly has outdated policies and less than stellar customer service.

This review is for the bakery section. I like going to this metro, I’ve never had a bad experience ever there. EXCEPT for anytime I go into the bakery section. Like excuse me for trying to get your attention to actually help me get a cake from your display. And to have the nerve to give me sass every time. I thought that as a person working where you have to deal with people on a regular basis, you should at least help the people trying to buy things from your section and not talk back or give some back handed comments when trying to do so. There’s two people working in that section but they’re always back turned and when you try to get their attention they physically look your way; then turn around.. you’re left standing there for another 5-6mins before they even say anything or even acknowledge your there to get something from them. Like I said, this isn’t the first time this has happened, and if you really hate your job that much don’t work in places where you constantly have to deal with customer. Last time I was left there waiting they asked me from across the room “what I wanted” … to grab a cake from the fridge display?? and when they asked me what one I wanted (still from across the room) I was irked at this point so I pointed to the one I wanted in HOPES that they would actually start walking themselves over to me.. but no.. they asked again.. "what one" so again.. I pointed "this one" then the lady decided to have an attitude instead of coming over.. saying they are trying to help.. REALLY?? cause as far customer service goes thats not how you conduct yourself. So I politely said "you know what? thank you." turned around and took my business to Fortinos where the people working behind ANY counter are glad to help. The lady even gave me sass as I was leaving?? clearly she doesn't want to work there.

Extremely disappointed with the false advertising in the deli department. The advertisement shows that you can choose any two (out of 10) fresh salads in the deli, but then you’re told to choose one of the little cheap Selection brand ones with a black lid .
