Of the things Hamilton has a shocking number of: world class pizza places, and world class bookstores!
J.H. Gordon Books is everything you could want in a new & used bookstore. The selection is tremendous, and the prices were perfectly fair. I was able to snag “The Martian” and “The Tommyknockers”. Can’t wait to go back!

I love this bookstore, every time I have been there is an excellent selection. Recently brought books in to exchange for credit, and I was happy with the rate I had! And the store owner is very welcoming and friendly. They also play excellent music.

I just went in this place on a whim today. It's so nice and quiet, the shelves are well stocked and theres a huge variety of books on the shelves! The prices are amazing I ended up buying two of the books that have been on my tbr.The person at the cash was super friendly and I ended up adding yet another book on my Mt.Everest of a to read list! Next time I'm in Hamilton I will absolutely try to come again :)

This Bookstore is in the perfect location. Always a good selection of fiction and non-fiction used well kept books. Most of the Topics have well stocked shelves. If you can't find the book you're looking for ask Julie(owner) she will do her best for you. All of the books are in good condition, very reasonably priced as well as a Discount program. I have never left this store unsatisfied always with a book or two under my arm that I purchased.
