Our family loves to visit the store for baked goodies. The selection is always impressive, and everything tastes freshly made and delicious. However, we've noticed that the cashiers at the bakery could be a bit friendlier and more attentive. Sometimes it feels like they don't even see us standing there, waiting to place our order.
We also enjoy shopping at Joe Fresh in-store for clothes for the kids. They offer a wide variety of styles for the entire family, which I appreciate. Yet again, the customer service can be hit or miss. Occasionally, we encounter a really great cashier, but most of the time, they seem a bit unfriendly and somewhat uptight.
Overall, while we love the products, improving the staff's friendliness would certainly enhance the experience!

Went in on my lunch to get a salad and some chicken fingers from hot foods, the shorter lady who served me got called to go to a department as i was paying - i paid and she just left without saying anything to me.. didn’t hand me my receipt or nothing.

I have to say my favourite area to visit is the coffee station and I don’t even drink coffee. There is a wonderful male who works there with glasses. So bubbly and great. Even mentioning about my crappy service I got ( if any service at all ,didn’t even get acknowledged ) at the sandwich area ,he mentioned who I should speak to. He made up for that so I got his smile and went on my way. I visit this fortinos because it’s close to home. Food is great ,service from the other areas are meh.

Great selection, a bit pricy for most items, but, the quality is there for fresh produce, meats and bakery

Fortinos have beautiful stores but I don't know how people can afford to shop there these days. Since Loblaws bought out fortinos it sure has changed from the original stores that originated in Hamilton Ont. I use to work for them in 83 in the meat department.

The ladies that run the ready made meats and sandwiches station are amazing! They're always polite and fast, and always offer to give me pickles with my sandwich! They're on top of their game there and all of the food they make is amazing. Highly recommend to get them to cater for any parties or get together!!!

Quite possibly the best grocery store in Hamilton City! Fresh fish section, Fair Trade Cafe, Noodles Resto inside the store, plus fresh baked bread or pastries (even Montreal style bagels!)
