Pharmacists fought for the right to give out prescriptions for minor things. The doctor sent us to the pharmacist to get a prescription for pink eye because that's the appropriate place to do it now. The pharmacist at this location said I have some paper work to do sorry I can't help you try coming back tomorrow. Why fight for thongs like this so your store can make more money and then when you get a chance to do it send people away or recuse to help them?

Great produce ... The various restaurant foods .. the pharmacy , the wine shop , the actual dry goods , the base nature of this establishment , groceries... covered , Truly a one stop everything kinda place .

5 stars only because they have the greatest dairy man - Trevor. Always very helpful, friendly, and the location is perfect. I often go here for a quick shopping run. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area ?

Unbelievable negative experience. We were waiting at the sushi bar and we noticed the cook shouting at a customer and looking very hard at everyone else. Then I went to purchase some items from the grocery, the cook was buying some cabbage, then left the line to continue doing grocery shopping. The clerk canceled the sushi cooks cabbage to allow me to purchase my groceries. The sushi cook came back and rudely went in front of me. Then the sushi cook began being rude to the clerk shouting at him and being very demanding. And then had the nerve to use my cart to pack up her groceries. Some floor manager came over to assist the clerk and it appeared that this sushi cook has a reputation for being mean to people and when I told the sushi cook, she was being rude, the floor manager told me that she was not being rude and for me to calm down. It was ironic because the floor manager was not even present for her rude behavior. I’m not sure why everyone fears the sushi cook or tolerates her behavior but as a customer, I would never buy sushi from her and I will not be going back to that Fortinos location. The poor clerked looked scared for his life, the floor manager appeared ignorant, and the sushi cook was a rude to a paying customer. The sushi cook might also want to get that nasty thumb looked at before preparing people’s food. Such a bad experience all because you are afraid of some rude loud mouthed sushi cook.

Great place to get some lovely lunchtime food. The crispy chicken sandwich was great and the service was very engaging.Price was good too.

Can usually get in and out here quite quickly. Even though they do not have the menu of the larger stores, the choices on offer at the deli and throughout the store is quite adequate

Really nice. Has a good selection of Joe Fresh clothes. A very nice food court. The Bakery and produce were fresh and a good variety. I was surprised to see A2 milk cartons and at a very reasonable price. Overall I enjoyed shopping at this Fortinos.

Love this location. Only issue was Cheryl (in ohoto and video)Profiled me as a thief..(I landscape was dirty after a 7.5 straight work shift)She followed me throughout the store. Then harassed a homeless man who paid for his order.Three managers watched this man. It was humiliating and degrading.I called her out and she went pretty silent.Stop assuming hard working people are thiefs or one's who ask for money in front of your store. We ARE NOT all the same and some do have dirt on their hands...so what.Farmers who provide our food also have dirty hands.Very ignorant and degrading. Cheryl should be more open and less judgemental. Let loss prevention do their job! You are a manager!!!Cheryl in front (white lady)...Loss prevention (blavk woman) other manager (black man)ALL watched this man buy his food. Also stopped him to ask if he checked everything through. Atrocious!!! Never in my life seen so much ignorance!

Hi could the Franchisee please respond to the following two items, they apply to all Hamilton Fortinos locations include this location at Main W.1) can you please bring back Ontario Ravioli. I do part of my groceries here for items like Ontario Ravioli and Tortellini, because they are staples in my life. So please bring back Ontario Ravioli and Tortelini. As these items disappear from your shelves, the least likely I am to come to your store weekly.2) can you please bring back "small-label" or "no-name" label-type and the lower priced, salt and vinegar kettle cooked chips. These use to always be available, in all stores and now, all I see is is expensive bags of this type of chip, and personally, they don't taste as good as the cheaper labels.. not worth the price.Thanks for your time in responding to as why these items are no longer available. I will delete this review upon a response.

well organized, clean & great variety but very pricey probably bc if all the Mac U students near by which is very sad ? they would probably get more business , bigger sales and repeat customers if prices were more reasonable. 28 $ for 5 chicken breasts?? I refuse to pay over 5$ a pc . I never have, never will . came here with my daughter move in weekend was disappointed , will need to find somewhere else to shop .

This Fortinos left a really bad taste in my mouth today. While shopping there my partner was looking for a specific item once we found it we found that it was the only one there and the seal and container was damaged pretty significantly. We spoke to a store employee and they said that it did not look opened but as there was no other item to replace it and we needing it they let us know that we could receive it for a discounted price if we took it and believe me no one would’ve bought the item as the label and seal was semi broken. We ended up taking it as we needed it and at the cash register mentioned what the employee had said. They spent a few minutes calling multiple managers (weird already) and then spoke to a manager named Mike who said the most he could do was take a dollar off as he can get a rebate for the item. Now the discount isn’t the issue it’s more so that this Fortinos is the chosen grocery store by my family and we shop there all the time but just the entire interaction was terrible and left a feeling as if we are not valued customers. Will definitely be driving a bit further to bring our business elsewhere as it’s clear this Fortinos location only values profitability over common sense.

Great selection of produce, canned, frozen and dairy selections in addition to their canned and dry food. My favorite is the great selection of prepared foodsThis location also has a lovely florist and outdoor garden section.
