Wow professional company like food basic
They allow this but i am glad the manager was professional
Because
I am surprise with what I witnessed
I didn’t get her name but I guess she was talking in Arabic language anyway the cashier lady
She was yelling and screaming at the customer for no reason and the problem is the customer was nice and calm and relax explaining to her
But she doesn’t want to understand and she called the manager and when the manager show up she deal it with The problem professionally she she didn’t say nothing to the customer in
To be honest my opinion no any other language should be allowed except English
And in my opinion the cashier they are not police or a manager there job to collect the payment successful and provide a good customer service and if they see something wrong,do not raise your voice in front the public or something just inform the manager don’t deal with it individually
Please and thank you
And no yelling no matter what
I am sorry food Basic for the one star but the 1 star it’s not for you the one star it’s for the cashier lady what she makes me witness

Love this store great prices on veggies and fruit and a great variety of multicultural food. Very reasonable prices .

I like this location best for our needs
and it is always stocked up on almost all our grocery needs .
Fresh produce and meats and a whole
lot more but the daily and weekly
savings make room for more groceries
in our cart 🤓👍

Not a fan of this location. The shelves are always empty, and the quality of the items they have is questionable. I shop at other locations and have a much better experience.

I go to Food Basics specifically for Iogo yogurt, the lrg box of oatmeal, and Mnt Dew Zero. I must frequent at least 2-3 different Food Basics to get the yogurt because I find expired/out-of-date yogurt. Two weeks ago, I found one with a best-before date from Dec 2023.

If you're going to only have 2 tills (one being the lottery till) open on a Saturday night, basically forcing everyone through self checkout, don't tell people they can only use the two non-express self checkouts. And sure as heck don't make them feel like thieves for trying to buy groceries on a Saturday night.
Also - SO MANY empty shelves and chest freezers
