Not as busy today. Don't have to be vigil about not colliding with other shoppers in the aisles. lol. Found a really neat automated snow globe. It has quite the twinkle of light. Nice addition for the Christmas Season.

Double charged for bananas. I only bought 4 items. The person at the door that makes you wait in a line just to leave is supposed to catch that. Right Costco? I was told that's why they're there.
Well I'm at it, I may as well mention the interaction I had in your optical department several years ago. The single worst customer service experience of my life. Unfortunately, witnessed by my daughter. The woman, who I believe was the supervisor for that area, did not approve of the choice in glasses I was helping my daughter make. In what I can only describe as passive aggression, she suggested my daughter's mother come back with her to help her pick out glasses. Implying I was unfit for the task.
I have a love/hate relationship with Costco. If a competitor comes to Canada, I will jump at the chance to take my business elsewhere.

Relatively speaking, this Costco is much less chaotic than others I have been to.
The parking lot configuration relative to the store entrance actually makes sense (unlike the two in the west end of Mississauga) and the weekend crowd volume is actually tolerable (again, compared to the cattle pens/sardine cans/pick your analogy in west Mississauga). Check out lines on a Saturday afternoon were only 3-4 people long (compared to running almost all the way to the back wall of the store).
Sadly, to experience this relative paradise, my drive is 35-40 minutes each way, instead of 15 minutes to the one near Dundas/403 in Mississauga. Worth it if I'm already in Burlington/Hamilton for other reasons. Bonus...this one has a gas station, again with much shorter wait times.
Very perplexed as to why Costco doesn't have a location in east Burlington/west Oakville/south Milton. It would take a lot of pressure off of the Mississauga locations. Failing that, a gas station needs to be added to the Burlington location.

No place to park so left without even going into the store to renew my membership. Starting to think renewal is not worth the effort. The parking lot was almost overflowing. The only one or two spots available were so far from the entrance you almost had to pack a lunch to get there or at least call an Uber. The place seriously needs some parking management controls. People parked all over the place waiting for a place to leave their vehicle and sooner or later there are going to be fender benders. Already have my fair share of door dings and don't need any more,

I liked the layout of this Costco, as it is a little bit different than what I am used to.
I did not like the self-checkout as it was very chaotic. In other locations, they have one line for self-checkout, whereas this location has three.
