“A very unique and niche bookstore that hosted a lovely art show. The vibes were thoughtful, lowlit and green. The people were kind and informative. The book selection itself was the most curated that I’ve ever seen before with books fanning from pop fiction, history, religious texts and smut. 10/10”

“Fabulous book store with an excellent, diverse variety of books! Lots of stock too, for a smaller space. If you're looking for thought-provoking, important, current books with great representation and diversity, this is your stop! That goes for adult, YA, and kids books too! Tons of 2SLGBTQIA+ books & graphic novels as well, both fan-faves and new releases. Also cute bookmarks and journals! Staff is always incredibly friendly and kind, which makes the whole experience wonderful every time.Thanks for doing what you guys do! You're an important resource for the community :)”
“We like to visit this particular BIG B location because we almost always find some decent deals in the $5 & $10 bins. The staff are really nice and a young man named Resse went above the call of duty and remained behind a little while while he graciously allowed us to check our comics front and back which is vitally important because every dollar we spend is potentially a dollar lost if we went home and found damage on said books, there is a no return policy and we would be out money on books that we weren't happy with. So we applaud Big B for allowing us the opportunity.
We will definitely be going back there in the coming weeks. Check them out ! You'll be happy you did. ???”
“I have known the owner for well over 30 years. His business is his life. He will go above and beyond for any customer. His outgoing, friendly, personality made people want to go to his store even if they did not make a purchase. I have never known him to be in a unpleasant mood even after his Landlord forced him out of his career, financial income, and most importantly, his self esteem.
Hopefully after his Cadioligst signs him off for his Cataract Surgery(legally blind) he comes back better than ever!

“The most amazing little bookstore. You have to call to make an appointment, but it's absolutely worth it. May seem odd to do so, but it's easy to make happen. If you are a bookworm or love cozy bookstores, then you have arrived. The owner was lovely and very helpful!”

“One of the better Cols stores I’ve been to! Love the selection and found things I’ve never seen before in other Chapters stores.However, a staff member who was working there the first time I made a visit really ruined the store for me . During a routine return she treated me in a condescending/power trippy way which I found strange because I have never been treated with disrespect in a Coles/Chapters store by a staff member. They are some of the most friendly retail workers out there.Regardless of my experience with this particular staff member, I would definitely suggest this location to anybody in the Hamilton area!”
