I live in Halifax, my friend brought me here when I was in Hamilton. The sandwiches here are so damn good I sunk almost 2 hours of my Saturday afternoon procuring the ingredients to make a turkey sandwich like they do. I did ok, definitely hit the spot but Artie’s bread is just on another level and I couldn’t find a focaccia that compares. My life will never be the same. This is a magical place. I wonder how a sandwich would hold up being FedEx’d over here! ? if we attempt it I’ll write another review to let everyone knows how it travels across 4 provinces.

listen to me - I know $7 sounds excessive for a loaf of focaccia. but I promise you this will be the only loaf of bread you will want to eat for the rest of your life. I want to lay on a bed made of this bread. It’s perfectly balanced - soft and pillowy, and crunchy on the outside with the perfect amount of oil. Will definitely be back for more.

Artie’s has become part of our weekly dinner rotation with spaghetti and meatballs on the menu! My husband and I and our two kids devour anything we buy from Artie’s! We also recently had Artie’s cater our son’s birthday party with sandwiches and we heard rave reviews from all that were in attendance! The food is fresh and high quality and the staff are so kind and helpful! 10/10 and HIGHLY recommend!!

This place is awesome. Sando’s are so addicting! Make sure you get there early before they’re sold out. The freshly made bread and cheese selection is great. I also love the gluten free pasta they offer on the shelf!

Love love love this place. The soppresatta sandwich is perfectly spicy and tender and the mortadella is excellent too. They sell out of sandwiches so go early. I am also big fan of their fresh pasta which is reasonably priced. Such a cute spot and I can’t wait for picnic weather to grab the sandwiches for the beach. They are a family favourite.

Went for breakfast sandwiches and we were absolutely blown away. Incredible flavour and freshness and everything else in the cabinet looked outstanding. Will be back for sure!

Stopped by for a mortadella sandwich and grabbed the rigatoni bake, both were exceptional. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. 10/10

Great coffee (love their iced capp in the summer) and even better sandwiches. My favourite sandwich is the squash but I’ve yet to have a bad one.
