Excellent layout but dear lord they need to hire a greens keeper, throw money at them until some grass actually grows, and buy about 20 more carts. We waited 30 minutes past our tee time, not because it was backed up, but because they didn’t have enough carts to send us out. All of the tee boxes had effectively no grass, many of the fairways were not much better, and all but two of the greens (7 and 8) are pretty brutal. If they could figure out how to grow some grass this would be 5 stars every day. Many great downhill tee shots with scenic views, interesting short holes with challenging small greens, etc.Please, just hire someone that knows how to grow grass and get a few more carts.

The Course is in pretty rough shape from the teeboxes to the fairway, while the greens are ever so slightly better. A few interesting holes and it seems like hole 8 & 9 are the best maintained. 8 is the flagship hole and it definitely was impressive and challenging with a view!It’s a fun track but definitely not what I was expecting given the high review score I saw on google before I booked. If you’re just looking to get some golf in at the cottage this will scratch the itch, but don’t expect too too much.

God gave me the gift of walking again after 7 years of being paralyzed. This was my first golf game back and needless to say I’d rather be in my wheelchair than be on this golf course. I didn’t know it was possible to have sand traps on the greens or the tee box’s. The employee at the first hole made Satan look like a good person, I’ve never seen someone so rude. After that horrible 8 hole course I’ll be retiring to my wheel chair.

A little expensive for what you get. Fairways are dead and hard as a rock, greens are quite slow and fluffy. But ok if you just want to bang the ball around, you just need to find some grass to put it on.

There are not a lot of golf options in the area but all are worth a visit. Of the 9 hole tracks, Highlands has the best layout and views. The tees and fairways were pretty brown but it has been a dry summer. Most greens were in good shape. I walked but it's got enough elevation I will take a cart next time if it's hot. Look forward to playing it again soon, hopefully better!

Very interesting course, grass is sparse in places, lots of bare browned spots, challenging up and down fairways , greens were in good shape. New owners (3-4 years) making improvements. I will be back.

Pretty solid cow pasture. Prices too high for the conditions and unfriendly staff. However, the 8th hole is amazing.

A very scenic and relaxing 9 hole golf course. The course is well maintained with a few areas that get soggy, especially with a heavy rain or two, but overall is playable for any type of golfer.This course comes with a lot of interesting challenges; hills, rock faces, winding greens, etc. Allows players to get use out of all their clubs.The 8th hole has a great view from the elevated tee box that is definitely worthy of a few photos and quick break to check it out.If you are going to be walking this course, note that because of the nature of the course being so steep with hills that it will be difficult for someone with limited mobility.Look forward to getting another chance to run through another 9 holes in the future!

Great course for a quick 9. Quite hilly but beautiful and fun to play. Had a great afternoon with my wife and son.
