We got our car towed to vinnies on hayes ave.in guelph as we had a guide pin issue with the left rear brake on wednesday july 31st. They had the car until thursday afternoon.we supplied the rotor & brake pads.we had already replaced the right rear without any problems. They looked at it.without quoting us a price. Told my wife that it was a whole pin assembly.and still no estimate as to what it was going to cost. For a part that should have taken 15- 30 minutes max to replace.charged my wife 2/1/2 hours.and 410.00 dollars.plus we had to pay the towbill of 168.00. And he said because he didn.t charge us tax there is no receipt. So we have no idea where the replacement part came from.but a 15$ dollar max pin turned out to be a 410.00 guide pin assembly apparently. And patrick the person my wife dealt with. Said he gave her a brake on the labour. Wow. Ive never dealt with crooks who don.t give customers a receipt of what was installed. Or a breakdown of the labour associated with the job in question as a former service adviser.the customers i dealt with always left with a warranty and a breakdown as to what was done. My wife phoned back when she got. Home.and requested a copy of the receipt. & was told if she wanted to be charged tax to please come bk & a receipt will be issued. Shaddy business in guelph.don.t go there. As there not the most honest of companies.my business in the future will be with a company that doesn.t rip you off & won.t supply a written copy of the actual time & parts installed.in the end very disappointed with the way it went down. And it would have been probably a 1000$ had the rotor and pads weren t my own parts there lucky to be getting a 1 star rating as 0 isn.t an option.

Had to tow in car ahead of scheduled visit, they were accommodating. Worked with a different shop with warranty replacement. Got eveything figured out and done quickly.
Friendly staff. Highly informative and professional.
Solid choice.
