Picked up a package of barley lentil soup mix at the Nov fair at the Guelph University. Made this yesterday and it is filling and extremely delightful. I did add a little bit more crushed tomatoes and a couple of cloves of garlic that I had grown this summer. Highly recommend this and if you don’t care for just seeds and lentils, perhaps you wanted to add some chicken or seafood and I’m sure that would be great as well. I’m going to ask my friend in Guelph to pick up some more.

As a cancer patient surviving on CPP disability, this program is why I am still alive, wonderful volunteers, fresh veg and fruit keeps me going through these very hard times. I have to pay for my chemo meds as they are not totally covered by the plan I pay for, Trillium. I can't thank you enough ?

The Seed has really improved my quality of life when it comes to food and my relationship with it. I am a carless student, and it is super liberating to have fresh, low-cost and healthy food-- especially in the dead of winter where I have to walk to the grocery store in the cold. I might as well be effectively living in a food desert because of that if it weren't for this particular community food program. The free delivery is a god-send in facilitating this. It has also encouraged me to eat healthier because of their selection. Also feels really good to not be lining the pockets of Loblaws.

We absolutely love The SEED! We've been ordering groceries from The SEED for several months now- communication is amazing and if there's ever a missing item (very rare)- we immediately get a credit to use for our next order. The produce is great quality (in my personal opinion better than what you'd find going into a store), as a new mom with an immunocompromised little one it was a relief to know I could still get good quality food, have it delievered, AND know it was going back towards the community. We'll be continuing to order from The SEED I'm pretty sure indefinitely- thank you for all the great work you do for our neighbours!

I find with The Seed I'm eating better quality food. Having it delivered is a blessing! I have arthritis in my back and no car. This program saves me time, money and energy. The precooked meals are delicious! Thank you to everybody. You have no idea how much you've helped me! xo
