“Exceptional quality of products, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff, and an ethical food production business model that you can feel good about supporting. When my family and I moved to Guelph over a year ago, we had a hard time finding quality meats and eggs that were sourced ethically with no added antibiotics or growth hormones. Not only did we find this at Rowe’s, they also have a fantastic reward program with huge savings every week that has saved us so much money for such quality ingredients. The chicken specifically has such good quality it doesn’t taste like the typical chicken you’d buy in Canada, there’s no weird white goo when you cook it and it has real colour and texture in contrast to the monochromatic chalky paste you could get at any other grocery store. Additionally, our health has improved over the past year since we started paying closer attention to where we source our foods. As animal lovers and former vegans, we only wanted to buy meat and meat products if we could find a supplier that truly cares about the animals they serve and the quality of their lives.
