A well organized store with all importqnt equipments at low price. Customer care were very nice. Things are a bit expensive but that is probably a national phenomenon.

Avoid the Auto Centre...no question! The worst experience with a car repair! The engine in our vehicle was overheating. We pay for a diagnostic assessment to determine the problem. We are told that it is the thermostat housing and that it needs to be replaced. We pick up the vehicle the next day, pay over $400. They assure us that they have run the vehicle and the issue is resolved. We drive away and the engine starts to overheat within a few kilometres of the store. We are on HWY 17! The vehicle will not go 25m before overheating again. We call Canadian Tire immediately to let them know. No help, no accountability. It is on us to call a tow truck. An additional $107 to the cost of this repair, and we are back at Canadian Tire. However, it is now after 5:00, so they are closed. We leave the car in their parking lot, and we return the next morning. At this point the vehicle will no longer start. We go in and explain the situation. This is honestly what we are told..."it will be $70 for a check, and $25 to tow the vehicle into a bay with our quad". Unbelievable! You would think that there would be no charge for them to assess THEIR OWN WORK (that has already been paid for, and verified by them). Now they find a problem with one of the connectors, and it needs to be replaced. Oh, and they test the battery and according to them, it "fails", so now add a new battery to the cost. Now the vehicle is ready to go. They've run it, and "jiggled things around", and it is good to go. Pay another $390 and we're out the door. This time the vehicle doesn't even make it 2km before it begins to overheat. Thankfully, we were close to another auto repair shop and they will be helping us with the actual repair. We returned to Canadian Tire to have a discussion with the auto centre manager, as at this point, we have paid over $900 and the initial problem remains. The manager was in a meeting, so the employee at the counter took my name and number and said that he would call me when the meeting was over. That was four days ago, and I have yet to hear from him. Their ability is questionable at best, and their is zero accountability! Truly shameful! Do not make the same mistake we did, go elsewhere!!

We found exactly what we were looking for that we couldn't find at any other stores. Staff could be a little more helpful.

Auto parts guys are not that great, but the rest are good and better staff. The main problem is that the auto part guys are too young, laid back, and naive, not well trained
