The store itself is typically clean and well stocked with quality produce etc
We visited the store on the holiday Monday and were thoroughly disappointed. The staff was extremely unhelpful and over all rude. The person at our till was exceptionally terrible, tossing produce and only seemed to care about getting us out of the store as soon as possible.
I understand the hiring pool isn't exactly great, but businesses need to stop sacrificing the integrity of their stores, just to hire anyone willing to work for minimum wage.
Be better!!!

I don’t know what’s happening to this store but the once wonderful polite staff have been replaced with very rude brash employees, today was the third incident I had with this flippant behaviour toward me and other staff members, I’m the last one to be considered prejudice but it’s not a coincidence that these said new employees are foreigners. This cashier almost smashed another employee’s fingers in the till, no apology when she was called out on it, I asked where an item was she pointed of to the distance to me and well I don’t know! Really Sobeys this is what is acceptable now? I’ll take my business elsewhere

This store has a great selection of items and the location is perfect for after a long beach day. However, on a recent trip there I was not impressed by the service I received by the grocery boy packing my items. He had put my grapes and sandwich buns in the bag first then proceeded to load heavy cans of sauce and jars of sauce onto my bread and grapes, squishing these items. I even provided three reusable bags for him to pack the groceries into but he chose to squish all 30 items on top of my bread and grapes.
I know the grocery packing service is hard to find in the day and age, and I do appreciate it, but if you’re gonna offer the service, can we at least train the people how to pack a bag of groceries coming from an individual who worked in the grocery industry for well over 10 years
