Chose Carstar Goderich based on decent reviews after getting into an accident; what a huge mistake. We were given the wrong rental, dirt in paint, aftermarket parts, new chips, scuffs, and a dent, tiny rust spots on tailgate from a grinder?? Overall horrible experience. They offered to fix the new damage as well as the paint, but there's no way we are letting them touch our vehicle again. Do not recommend.

A most excellent job resealing my badly leaking windshield. Great care was given to ensure a job well done and without any damage to the windshield itself. this is not always possible, but great care was obviously taken to make this happen. Professional class workmanship indeed !

I spoke on the phone with a lady who worked here about getting some rust repair work done on my vehicle, she said she would give me a call back with more information including pricing in one to two business days. It’s been over two weeks and I haven’t heard from them at all. I guess I will take my business elsewhere.

A container of deck stain ruptured and splattered the front of my vehicle. Being that the product was a similar color to my car I didn't notice it until it was hardened and impossible to remove. Tom took the time to test several products in removing the splatter, and removed at least 80% of it, without scratching the finish. He counselled me on how to remove the last bit, and would not accept any payment......saying "pay it forward". You don't often see that level of integrity, kindness, patience and work ethic in a company any more. What a truly generous and heart warming gift he gave me. Thank you Tom......I will definitely pay it forward.

Positives:- Paint job quality itself is impeccable.- Good customer service. Clear professional communication, no fuss about noticed issues.- The damage was quite significant (I hit a deer with front left corner of the car), but the car was ready sooner than I expected.- Car comes out exceptionally clean inside and out.Not positives:- After initial delivery the following issues were found:o One corner of the hood was not painted.o Another corner of the hood was bent.o Gap between hood and grill was too large.o One headlight was aimed too high.o The damaged fuse box was not replaced.o The driver’s door was tilted a bit.All these issues were addressed without any arguing on the second visit.I have a good overall impression of this body shop, but I would be happier if everything was done right at the first attempt.
