Overpriced compared to other stores in the area, and they kept serving us meat that goes bad before the expiration date. This hasn't happened since switching stores.

Finally we received our deli meat sliced and packaged the way it should be. It was sliced thin and presented in layers separated with paper. There is nothing more unappetizing than sliced meat thrown in a bag. Thank you to deli gal who said she insists that staff present it this way. Kudos to her!

I just left your customer counter.. and was very disappointed by service I got! I had a return…bough Collagen Protine Sunday night I opened it Monday (july1) am and was surprised by the unfamiliar taste! I didn’t have a reciept but the customer service person wasn’t willing to help!! I was asking for exchange as am buying Organika on regular bases!! Iam very much supporting Loblows and Independent grocers
Even during a boycott time I stand by you, continued shopping, but this treatment from customer service makes me rethink my devotion!

Pc Optical .I cannot speak highly enough about Mike and the exceptional service he provided in helping me get my son's glasses quickly. From the moment I reached out to him, he was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure that the process was smooth and efficient. Not only did he communicate with me every step of the way, but he also made sure that my son's glasses were ready in a timely manner, which was greatly appreciated. The employees for the most part (at least the ones who work the self checkouts) are always incredibly rude. I politely said "have a nice day" to one of them today and he scoffed at me with a "yeah, ok."

Came to buy flowers...Sunday at 130pm apr 28...no florist...asked associate if anyone can wrap flowers...couldn't find anybody. Mid day on the weekend and can't buy flowers...

Today, I saw the Geesbees honey at the Independent. They are selling it for $15.99. DON'T BUY IT THERE!!!. Drive 5 minutes to Geesbees and buy it for $9.99!!!

Overpriced basically everything, rotten produce and a waste of time. Deals are not deals unless you buy two or more of something and even then still not really a deal you’re just getting ripped off less. A short trip across the bridge and your grocery bill will be half of what it is shopping here.

The "freshly made sandwiches" near the entrance to the store are consistently 1 to 2 days old. Make sure you know the date you are shopping and check it against the date the sandwich was made (on the label). When I told the woman behind the counter that it was bad policy not to label stale sandwiches, she tried to convince me that the sandwiches were fresh until the expiry date. Bottom line is that they push stale sandwiches on their customers.

Make sure to check the expiry dates. Have had many items expire the day after bought them and didn't realize till I was home.
Edit: Just purchased groceries from here. Got home and found that packaged noodles (not expired) were all black and fuzzy inside. This isn't the first time I buy something from here and it's rotten. Really considering not going here again.
Leafy produce is often so wilty, and limp and the selection is very limited. Went for peameal bacon the other day and all they had was some expiring that very day. Prepared salads have lettuce that looks old and going bad. Often find expired food on shelves. Only good thing is the rotisserie chicken, if you can manage to be there when they have some.
