“My roommate prefers this location by leaps and bounds ( over the St-Laurent bld/ Montreal rd area one and the other near montreal rd near the parkway )This store is less busy, less waisted time and it is way more recent, way cleaner, better staffed, better layout, wat better part of town. Etc ... Only issue is it ain't Better parking, as it's quite a small parking lot and way busy as a parking lot.Our major and massive pet peave is the extreme idiocy of time that bottle return takes .. there has to be a better way .. especially when those that do bottle hunting and show up with thousands of bottles and cans .. come on the store should have a specific lane for them and an other lanes for non can and bottle hunters rummagers etc.”

“Solid selection, well organized, little pricey, expect $6+ a can. Knowledgeable staff are helpful with recommendations, small selection of dried meats, cheeses and sauces. Definitely worth stopping in, but be prepared to splash some cash.”

“Very good service, very knowledgeable. I went in for a Christmas present for my boss, I explained what he liked, the employee suggested a chilien wine and boss loved it.”

“Staff very friendly and helpful. I was served in English even though a new barbarian law allows servers not to speak English even if they are fluent. But a sex offender was granted a retail this year in BC because his case wasn't tried in French. Greater minds than mine might be able to figure this out. Admittedly I can't.”

“Who doesn't love LCBO. This location isn't the easiest to get to with traffic being the biggest turnoff. However, the selection, setup of the store and cleanliness made it worth the trip.Just tried this beverage a couple nights ago. 10/10 recommend”

“I do love this Trainyards location. It’s so central in the city - it’s easy to get to with three HWY 417 interchanges not too far away. (Innes, St. Laurent & Riverside)Huge parking lot (although whatever developer or city planner decided on making a maze of all the parking lots at Trainyards should be fired and never again allowed to plan parking lots in Canada!)BUT, what I would LOVE to see here, now that Farm Boy has moved to its own flagship location across the way - is for LCBO to take over the existing space. How about we make this the flagship store instead of Rideau? No one enjoys going down there, drivers or otherwise. It’s feels so unsafe and everyone is constantly accosted in the parking lot at Rideau / King Edward. So many robberies and a ton of security - but I never feel like my expensive purchases are protected on the walk to my car at LCBO #38How about we expand this store #41 and make it the best one in Ottawa. A bigger whisky shop? A tasting bar? Expand the vintages section. What about an area for pop-up brand shops/pods like you have at store #511 (King and Spadina) & #217 (Queens Quay and Cooper) in Toronto? I would drive here over downtown Ottawa / Rideau Street any day, and I think a lot of your key demographic for the events held at the Tasting Bars etc would agree. EXPAND THIS STORE!”

“Spending here with a colleague to buy wines and breezers for a weekend in a chalet, once there a kind advisor told us where the wines we were looking for were located and told us where to find the breezeurs to search for all that with a smile so thank you we will surely come back”

“It is a smaller LCBO, so the selection is a little more limited than elsewhere, but it mostly has everything you need. What makes it stand out is how friendly and helpful the staff at this location are. I accidentally dropped a can of beer which exploded and the woman running cash was nice about it and had the problem dealt with immediately.”

“Nestled in the heart of Ottawa, the LCBO is a libation haven that transcends the ordinary. From the moment you step through its doors, the inviting aroma of aged spirits and fine wines welcomes you. The staff, with their wealth of knowledge, are like sommeliers of the soul, guiding you through a curated selection that spans continents. The ambiance is a delightful blend of sophistication and warmth, making every visit an exquisite journey through the world of spirits. LCBO Ottawa is not just a store; it's a spirited adventure waiting to be uncorked.”

“This store is clean and well maintained, albeit somewhat on the smaller side. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and it's an easy LCBO to visit for a quick top-up.”

“So well maintained and always marked! Love the large vintages sections. Super friendly staff - I've never not had someone offer up help even when busy stocking shelves. And great stock. Would recommend this location over others in the area!”

“A pretty large LCBO with a good selection of wine, beer, whisky, and rum. They do not have many people on the floor, so it was impossible to find someone to ask a question.”

“I dont normally leave reviews for liquor stores but i just had to for this one. Best wine selection in Canada. And special kudos to the employee named Greg who does wine tastings - that man is so incredibly knowledgeable about wines and super personable and professional. Hope he gets promoted one day. I ended up walking out of there with $200 in wine!”

“All the staff are very friendly, even the pan handlers out side have a cheerful demeanor unless they're fighting with eachother. The location is a little small but caters to a local Vanier population with many different tastes. If you're looking for alcohol and a show this a great place to revive both.”

“Excellent customer service, no matter the employee on shift! Perhaps a little small (the physical size of the store), however what is lacking in square footage, gets made up by their willingness to both serve AND protect you from Covid! Keep it up!”

“Good location with all the main products but a bit less selection than the larger stores. Great knowledgeable and helpful staff who are already really friendly.Parking is ok but can get pretty busy given the strip mall has a few stores including the Beer store next door which is useful if you don't find a specific beer at LCBO”

“Spectacular international beer business, although it lacks a lot of very famous variety from Spain or the United Kingdom...
The entire establishment is a giant refrigerator. A beer-only business is interesting.
A resounding success in the area and among locals and tourists.”

“Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Modest selection, but still good for its size/location. Allows you to buy alcohol while shopping for groceries at Massine'd Independent Grocer. Prices are fair.”

“Nice big store. Lots of parking but might get filled during weekends due to big Loblaws beside it.Nice selection of Japanese sake. They also carry a few Korean wine.Great artistically painted electric box right at the entrance as landmark.”

“Lovely shop today at this location! After making my purchase, one of my cans fell and dented on the ground. The staff were very understanding, even though I came in a bit after making the purchase, and allowed me to exchange for a non-dented can. This is a great location! They might never have the perfect stock, but it is optimal for convenience.”
