I can’t thank Mike and crew enough for the fantastic service. Having travelled to Ottawa for a vet appointment, and facing an 8 hr trip home, we need a tire repair.
Despite an obviously busy Monday morning at their shop, the Kal Tire team had us on our way within 45 minutes.

I AM EDITING THIS REVIEW AFTER ALL GOT FIXED BY OTHERS ON MY TRUCK.
ILL ONLY TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED ABD IM RAISING THEM FROM 1 TO 3 STARS DUE TO THE FRONT DESK GUYS CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.
THEY WANTED $1850 + HST TO CHANGE 4 BREAK PADS (NO ROTORS AS THEY SAID I DIDN'T NEED THEM) AND WOULD TAKE MAXIMUM 2 HOURS TO CHANGE.
WHEN I REJECTED THE SERVICE AND DECIDED TO SEEK OTHER PRICING, THEY THEN TOLD ME THAT THEY BROKE MY SPRING KIT. I WAS A BIT UPSET TO BE HONEST AS I NEVER GAVE THE "OK" TO WORK ON MY VEHICLE. THE FRONT DESK GUY WAS RESPECTFUL, SINCERE AND HAD THEM REPLACE MY SPRING KIT WITH NO CHARGES. I GIVE HIS SERVICE A 5 STAR BTW, AS HE DOESN'T REFLECT THE PRICING DEPARTMENT AND IS NOT THE MECHANIC. AFTER THEY FIXED IT BACK TO HOW IT WAS I WENT TO SAMI AUTO CARE NEXT DOOR. THIS IS NOT A JOKE, SAMI CHANGED MY 2 FRONT BRAKES AND ROTORS!
AND HE CLEANED MY BACK BREAKS HE SAID WERE CEASED. TRUCK RUNS GREAT NOW ?.
HERES THE PRICE AND WORK DIFFERENCES, AFTER TAXES......
KAL TIRE: 4 BREAK PADS $2100.
SAMI AUTO: 2 BREAK PADS AND 2 ROTORS $300.
YES, I SAID $300. FROM $2100 to $300. DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH THAT INFO.

I took my car to this location to do car maintenance a few times. I don’t recommend anyone to go here unless u have plenty of time. My appointments were around 11AM usually .. 2 out of the 3 times, I got cancelled after I arrived/. They said the technician was sick.. well, they could have called me .. so that I don’t need to take a half a day off from work. The staff said they are just busy but there wasn’t anyone waiting. It is just the way they treat customer .: they don’t care u.. they obvious are not the owner. They don’t care your business ..one time I called the staff that I might be 10 mins late.. he said he would need to cancel me if I am even 1 min late..that is so rude.Also double standard, when they are behind on the work which was very common.. I waited for a few hours .. if I am late.. they said they can just reschedule me to another daySince then, I went to my dealer to do car maintenance. I find my experience is lots more enjoyable and treated like a customer. They provide me a shuttle or free uber service to go home if I choose to while they fix my car. Free coffee, drinks in the waiting room. The waiting room is like maple leaf lounge .. also provide free car wash every time. I am so regret I went to smaller car repair shops like Frisby for a year .. which I was being treated like garage

I will not recommend this store for anybody.The first day, I found my tire is leaking and send my vehicle to the store. They checked and said it is unrepairable and did not have time for changing winter tires to summer tires. I called them for picking up keys at 5.05 pm then said OK. But when I arrived, nobody is in the store.The following day, I brought the summer tires for changing. In the afternoon, they called me with completion. I mentioned whether they can park the car outdoor, I paid the bill and picked up key in next day. They also said Yes. But in the evening, I called Uber and arrived, the car can not be picked up because it is in garage.The reason they gave me to park the car inside because I did not paid.Nobody will decline to pay $80 and give up the Key.They cheated me twice. Bad service.

i visited frisby tires a few times at the 1780 queensdale Ave location ottawa south .. (. i am disappointed and I don't recommend anyone to go unless they have plenty of time to spare. All my visits were booked by appointments with a time and day. Tires maintenance, tire change etc one time, when I arrived they told me the mechanical staff was sic....so they cancelled me. Another time told me I need to wait for 4 hours so that he can get someone to fix my tires.. all these were by appointments 10am, 11Am.. they have plenty of time can call me to ask me not to come. They didn't... and I drove 30mins to get there. One time I called them if I can be late for 10 mins as I was stuck in traffic.. They told me I can't be late otherwise they would cancel me... .. but they don't carry the same standard themselves. They said I should treat just like visiting a doctor office ...wait...for a doctor to be seen. How ridiculous ..my doctor never cancelled me when I arrived there .. I also never needed to wait for hours to be seen in my family doctor .. unless in hospital emergency.The staff there are not the owners. They dont have the heart to care if u come back or not. They don't have the heart to improve their service.

I can't say enough good about this company. They are attentive, affordable and they keep their promise on the product they quote you for and your appointment time. I've gone there a few times for my tire purchase and changing. Amazing people that are polite and respectful. Thank you Frisby staff! ?

Had previously purchased my Cooper winter tires at this location and have been very happy with them. Since I needed new summer tires, decided to look in to purchasing from this location again. Called for a quote and was given great help on the phone so went ahead with a new set of Yokohamas. Booking the appointment was no issue at all. Dropped it off mid-Saturday morning and they were ready within the hour. Overall this was my second good experience purchasing new tires from this location.

I made and appointment and when I tried to confirm with the manager. This is what happened. 1780 kingsdale locationThe shop manager didn’t answer my call or return my call so I went to the industrial location with 0 issues.Great job to the industrial location and to queensdale location get your act together..Harold
