UPDATE: My van got fixed very quickly after receiving service at Canadian Tire Huron Rd . All my van needed was a simply tune up, Charlie told me to take it to the dealer as he felt it was the computer...so so wrong. His 40 years experience could not figure out that all my van needed was a simple tune up. Thank you Canadian Tire. Charlie has his money made and customer service is no longer important.
I am so disappointed in Charlie but not surprised that he abandoned me when I needed a repair. I have always felt he never had interest in working on my vehicles. Everytime I call I would feel like I was intruding, even thought I am a paying customer ...nothing was free, even charging me $60 for a piece of furnace that he placed in the floor of an old camper van I had. Over the years I have paid $1000's of dollars to him, yet he did not want me as a customer.
I wanted him to install a fuel injector as this was diagnosed while on a trip, he insisted on a coil pack which had already been replaced while away from the Ottawa area. I explained all this that had been done while I was on vacation.
I waited one week for an appointment , dropped my van there even thought I got the feeling he did not want to help me. After trying a coil and finding it was not the problem, he still refused to install the part that was need ....fuel injector on cylinder . I ask why, he said because I don't want to and you can go somewhere else. I honestly left there in tears. I never knew how mean he could be. Been my mechanic for about 7 years. If you see the painted rock on his desk, I made that for him. I regret it now because he does not deserve my kindness.
