About North Star Confectionary
North Star Confectionary is a great little locally owned convenience store and chip stand that is a friendly place to stop on the way. It offers a good variety of items, including ice cream, both hard and soft serve, and amazing frozen yogurt. The chip shack is amazingly scrumptious, with delicious poutine featuring lots of cheese curds and really tasty gravy with no skimping on toppings. The burgers and fries are also great. The dedicated gluten-free offerings are celiac safe, featuring buns that are not heavy and don't fall apart. With very friendly service and good quality food at the right price, it is a place customers fully recommend and hope stays open as long as possible.

Came here to say that I’m very happy with my experience here at North Star.
I’ve been coming here for their ice cream for the past 2 weeks daily after work and it’s been nothing but great service and good quality ice cream.

Very friendly service, great place to stop for ice cream (hard and soft serve) and frozen yogurt. Rare to find a locally owned convenience store these days.
