“Was travelling through area when the car broke down.The team got me sorted out and on my way the next day. Communication was great on status of the repair.Have no idea where they found the parts during Covid but they did and the bill was reasonable.”

“We were on our way back to the United States from a camping trip and our battery was slowly losing charge due to a faulty alternator Ron let us stop by and charge our battery so we could make it the rest of the way home free of charge. He was a nice guy and even took time out of his day to chat with us while our battery charged.”
“Our group entered Canada in Fort Frances, Ont. Friday evening and found that we had a tire going flat with + 150 miles to travel and with only a "donut" spare and no service stations open.
We were directed to Lakewood Tires, the only service center open on Saturday and only to 1 pm.
We contacted the Lakewood folks who told us to come over and they would "fit us in".
We were treated like family-far better than we had a right to expect, everyone was helpful from the owners to the mechanic and when they finished, we were given a deal for the service that was far less than expected especially as out-of-towners totally dependant on Lakewood's good will and fair pricing.
Our group will not forget the class act operation we found in Lakewood Tire and recommend them whole heartedly to anyone in the Ft. Frances area!!”

“Car threw up an engine code and I was able to get my car scanned for free. He told me the car was saying I had a bad cat and it was an emissions issue. Im trying some cat cleaner from cdn tire, see if that works. They didnt make me spend money or anything. Just told me what it was. Their rate is 115$/hr”
