“Knowing that weddings can cost tens of thousands of dollars, we had been trying to figure out a way to get married without spending a fortune. We considered many options and the sheer number of variables was a bit overwhelming. Then we discovered Elope Niagara Little Log Wedding Chapel. Everything on the website looked great, but we wondered whether they would be LGBT friendly. Then we noticed their Same-Sex Gallery which answered that question. We booked in March for an October wedding and right from the beginning, they were very prompt and professional in responding to us. We had some special needs and they were very accommodating. We signed the contract for the Classic #3 Package and sent the very reasonable deposit. All questions were answered right away. On the day of the wedding, everything went as planned. It had seemed like a lot to get done in less than an hour, but Kathy and Kim had clearly developed a system that made the wedding special without feeling rushed. Our more than 50 photo proofs came more quickly than expected. They were so great that we couldn’t choose just the 15 included in our package. They offered us the complete set at a very reasonable price, so, we got them all. My husband and I recommend Elope Niagara Little Log Wedding Chapel.to any couple who wants to make it official at a very reasonable price.”

“I've been to every business that provides this experience in Buffalo. This is the most immersive and impressive. We had a great time, Anna was a great host who let us figure things out on our own and beat the room with pride.”

“We love the BPO Pops series but are exhausted with the stress of parking! We have gone 1.5 hrs early and done the shuttle but in the cold you may have to wait quite sone time! We have enjoyed many family events and don't want to do the dinner! I guess we are just going to bow out as we age! Unfortunately, we wanted to have our grandkids to more events!”

“This was the first time I attended a concert at Babeville in Asbury Hall. It was a General Admission event with VIP seating for just the first seven rows of floor chairs. The venue was very historic looking, with lots of wood. The balcony is very cool. They don't serve food, but serve beverages at an upstairs bar. They also have a smaller bar in the basement. The stone work is also really cool down there. The men's bathrooms seemed to have enough capacity to reasonably handle the rush at Intermission. The sound in the room was not bad, but it was a bit muddy sounding. There were warm and cold sound spots scattered through the room. There isn't really onsite parking at the location, so you have to look elsewhere. There are a variety of bars and restaurants within a few blocks, so plenty of before & after gathering places.”

“This is a great community space with pop-up vegan markets, special holiday events, and commercial kitchen space for rent for fledgling vegan businesses. I came for the Valentine's Day market as well as their special St. Patrick's Day vegan reuben event. There's a small shop in the front of the building with the event space behind that and the kitchen behind. What a great addition to the growing Tonawanda vegan scene! A stone's throw from Guud and Evuul and the a hop, skip, and a jump to the Vegan Grocery Store.”

“This Edwardian building has some fabulous architecture, and now houses the Ukrainian Cultural Center. We stopped in for some food (the proceeds going to the Ukrainian support the Ukrainian people during the war), and got to see the bar area with it's vaulted ceilings. The bar is staffed entirely by volunteers, and has a neat selection of Ukrainian beers. The food was also made by volunteers, and we needed a translator to order! Everything was great, and the people were all welcoming. While the area isn't the greatest, they do have a parking lot on the east side of the building which can get packed, but offers fenced off-street parking.”

“Had a fabulous time Ice skating @ Canalside. Rentals were $5 per person. Admission is $8. Lockers $1.Pros: beautiful landscape.Friendly people willing to give out free lessons.Cons: they were out of many sizes of skates due to the demand of people coming in. Skates were hit or miss. Some were good condition, some were completely mangled.Long waits for rentals (so bring your own!!)Parking is sparse unless you are okay with paying ($5-$20).Overall, I would come again. Probably not on the weekend since parking is tricky & the crowding on the ice makes it hard to find your rhythm.”

“Food trucks Tuesdays are always fun nights. Take your pick of food trucks, great music (last night, the Stress Dolls), and ice-cold beer. FYI, if you go later, bring a chair.”

“Had to stand outside a very long time to enter the building to play bingo. But when we finally got in, we had a very fun time with the family. There’s a small snack bar. I think the pizza was from Mr Pizza, popcorn was very good just like the movies and they also had alcohol for over 21yrs and pop and water for everyone else.Parking was a little hard.”

“I had my wedding here on 2/24/24 and could not have asked for a better experience. The venue was gorgeous and the staff was phenomenal. Everything ran smoothly and was laid out exactly how I wanted. Dan is the best coordinator I could ever want. He made sure everything went off without a hitch while staying behind the scenes!”

“Really cool place to hold a party, bachelor party or large gathering. There is a lot to do here horse shoes, bocce ball, wallie ball net, basketball court and lot's more. Only complaint is it gets HOT in there.”

“Honeymoon Suite concert on 9/30.Advise you to arrive early to get better parking (since no onsite lots are available).PITT system was great. Sound was a little muddled though. Not sure how it was in the back.Overall a good experience, BUT be forewarned, the Men's restroom is downstairs AND it has NO TOILET (only 3 urinals). Not sure how they pull that off?”

“We attended a wedding here and it was very good. It's an amazing space. The food was good, but the service was slow. For a 5pm wedding, the last tables were being served at 7:50pm. At that point some of the entrees had been sitting for a bit. Though at 24 tables, it was a very large service.”

“Dan, the outstanding manager, was polite professional and catered to my needs. Something you don't see regularly at neighboring business'. Our experience was fantastic, and we can't wait to go again. Great place, great food. Definitely going back.”

“The food was excellent for the most part. Chicken finger sub was delicious, though for hot it wasn't very hot. Fries were crisp and outstanding. Mozzarella sticks were great.

The decor and the music bring played were both good choices. Definitely a must go to place.”

“I was at Aloft Buffalo Downtown for Roswell's Cancerchella. The hotel was very accommodating, fun, and very comfortable. Their bowling alley was a lot of fun and the XYZBar had great drinks and was very comfortable to socialize in. It gets very busy Friday and Saturday nights with the rooftop bar judging by the line of people waiting for the elevator up. The staff did well to work around some of the rude and pushy customers. I highly recommend staying at this hotel for a nice visit in downtown Buffalo!Rooms: The rooms are fun, trendy, and in my opinion a little nicer than your average affordable hotel. My room was on the 12th floor and had a beautiful view of Buffalo and Lake Erie. The bathrooms and showers were nice and spacious. There wasn't really much for a dresser but instead a place to put your luggage with a couple of small drawers underneath. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet at night. There was also a small table and some seating in the room.Safety: I felt pretty safe at this hotel. You need card key access to get to the hotel floors via elevator. However when I left my room this morning someone had attempted to tamper with the card reader to my door, and the cover was off of it and laying on the ground. My door was deadbolt though so I didn't have to worry about someone breaking in. A few other doors had this happen to on our floor, so i just notified front staff when I checked out. There was ample security in the lobby and the bars, and I felt completely safe during my stay!Walkability: This hotel is very walkable where it's located in downtown buffalo. There are plenty of things to do within walking distance, including the theatre district.Food & drinks: The food catered for our Cancerchella event was fantastic! The drinks at any of the bars were delicious and typical pricing.”

“Tonawanda Castle catered our wedding in October of this year, and we're so glad we went with them! Their food was absolutely delicious, everyone enjoyed it! Any of the staff we spoke with were very kind and at the tasting the chefs came to talk to us personally about what we wanted on the menu which was really nice aspect! They are also pretty flexible with their menu, and were able to accommodate any changes we had to the bar or food menu. They did tack on a decent chunk of money since our event was smaller than expected, but at the end of the day it was still less than what our original bill was going to be and 2020 has been a really tough year so I understand they need to stay afloat. We were just happy to help out a local Buffalo business. The staff is trying their best! Overall, we had a great experience with them!”
