They are also very helpful with anything you need when you are there. They will even help you put your order into the truck or van that you brought!”

“Great store to buy many things. It's like a dollar store but with lots of other products you don't find at dollar stores. They sell no food. It is fun to shop there cause they have a huge number of things to buy from shoes to clothes to hardware.”
“They have a number of items for $5.00. Could not find any chocolate frogs though which they had for years. There were a few butter beer candies but not the same as a chocolate frog.”

“I love Big Lots. This place always has what you need for cheap prices. The cashier was NOT friendly at all. We greeted her with a smile she frowned, we thanked her for her assistance she never responded with you're welcome. We told here we hoped she had a better day again a frown and yes she spoke English! “Best Dollar Tree in the area. For the most part, it’s clean, quiet, well-stocked. There is also more to choose from because there are products for $3 and $5 to round out the experience without digging too deep into your wallet. The only downside is the parking lot. Be careful crossing over so you don’t get mowed down by one of the cars!”

“Went here to get lighter fluid for my Thursday barbecue. however, I also brought an energy drink here and some nachos. The cashier asked me if the lighter fluid was with my checkout items because it didn't look like the other items, and I told him yes; anyway, he was like "Oh yeah! people don't normally sell that anymore - It's all self-light but there's nothing like a good old-fashioned....well, you know, I have stories my guy." Anyway, finally got home when was able to do my barbecue thanks to the life saving lighter fluid. Those ribs were so juicy and tender it was like flavorful rave in my stomach. I especially really liked the Marrow in the ribs - I ate it out as the kids say. I know my body didn't have to do much colorization when it came out as it was already brown going in, and just like it was tender going in, also coming out. I'm really thankful as the past few days I've been constipated. Arguably one of the most joyous experiences making ribs and it's all thanks to that lighter fluid. Originally went to Walgreens but they didn't sell any lighter fluid. I really have to thank everything in that process - the cashier down to the porcelain that I sat on the very end. Every moment during that process I enjoyed thoroughly and it's all thanks to that guy that questioned me about my checkout items. I think at one point he even tried to put me to the barcode scanner, I wasn't having any of that, and I was ready to throw down if he touched me; however, we never reached that point. He could have taken me in a fight... I think, but I would at least got a few good love taps in.”
“Cashier that is behind the counter during the day is very good at her job. Helpful and kind. Store is a normal dollar general and has what you expect but the employees make this one in particular great.”

“This location was not even on the Yelp app , which I was completely surprised by. I had to come to this location because I have been searching everywhere for "Toblerones" and no one has them, but this Dollar General. Not the size I wanted, but the minion's will be good enough. Inside isn't as updated as all the other ones. It seems like whatever store was there before, they just left the old flooring & layout the same. The employee was very helpful though, because I could not find the candy bars & she directed me right to them. I would not normally come to this store, but if they're the only ones who have what I'm looking for, I'm there !!! It was quite busy too,which seemed like with "Regulars." It's a bit crowded as well with all shelves so close to each other, which means the closer you have to get to people, so make sure u wear a mask in here, which they did not enforce.”
“Finally got the conditioner I've been looking for. This was not my regular DG but I just happened to spot this one on my way home and as luck would have it, I got the last tube on the shelf. Thanks hair Gods ? ☺ ? ?”
“This DG is just next to my home. The staff is friendly and the items are fresh. Milk and eggs last longer than other places. I guess, the prices are a bit on the higher side though.”
“The staff are nice and the store is 5 minutes away from my house. There is a lot of bums that hang around the area, so make sure you have protection on you. They're mainly at the utica station across the street and outside the store doors at night. So watch your back around there. Other than the bums, that area is pretty chill. I hang out with my friends at the Mc Donalds down the street and sometimes in the Utica Station”
“Save a lot really saved us. We don't have to go very far to get bread and egg for my wife. There are very few places that accepts WIC and thanks to them we always find them fresh. The staff are very helpful regarding finding items.”
“Hello, today I had the unpleasant and offensive mistreatment of one of your employees, when I made the payment my debit card gave an error and she sent me to withdraw it, after trying several times the employee began to yell at me very angry when She was only waiting on her phone and in a very offensive way she told me that she would attend to the next client and that she would cancel my items in a rude and unpleasant way, it is a shame for failing her clients in this regard, she is late, poorly educated and I wish I had another client do not have the misfortune of being poorly served by people with such bad character and disrespect as your employee, and at least I will not make any purchases at your Tue again so as not to have to be offended and even humiliated for being an immigrant who does not speaks their language, I have witnesses of what happened, I hope they select their employees better, thank you and hopefully take the appropriate measures so that this does not happen again to another client”

“Love this store, it's set up beautifully and it's closer to where I live then tops. Prices & selection are also good. It's definitely one of the nicer dollar generals I've been in.As far as the employee situation goes, if you do some simple digging you will learn that the current store manager has been fired from two other jobs on the island for taking money from the company. At previous jobs she also had a habit of spending employees pay checks and then claiming she never got them, or taking a few of the hours they worked and not recording it properly and keeping that money for herself. Again I'm not sure of the exact paper work she had to do but she did get caught stealing large amounts of money over time from two different companies on the island. She tries set others up to take the fall for her so yes absolutely watch your back, keep your guard up if your considering a job at this location. She will make you feel important and like your a boss but in reality she just wants the paper trail linked to anyone but her for as long as possible.”
