STAY AWAY, this company stood me up. Very unprofessional, deceitful, they wasted my time and I have to look for another mover that costs me so much. Nick and Harold, both of you should not be putting people in compromised position if you are over booking and not showing up you should at least have told me in advance. I have to call twice while waiting a no show. I got a call 2 days before for confirmation of their service, what was the call for if you guys are just going to stood up customer?Nick says they were only helping their Toronto office and they are a franchise from Guelph. Regardless of which location you are with Nick, customer deserves better service than your lame excuse. I didn’t get an apology but instead he said my guilt tripping is not going to affect him.What a way of treating a customer.Horrible experience!!!!!!

Booked a move months ago for last Wednesday and nobody showed up. Planned it, we were ready. Nobody came.Was told there was trouble with the truck, and the manager was MIA, they would do another move and get to us in the afternoon. Didn’t hear anything. We had to call and text at 5 and didn’t get a response until 7.No apologies, no trying to make it right, nothing. Can we do Saturday they asked. Sure, fine, let’s do it. We still need to move everything.Fast forward to today (Saturday). Got a call earlier in the morning that again nobody was coming.Some apologies this time as the Kitchener office was now trying to cover for the Toronto one. Rebooked for Sunday. Then they sent us a quote that not only had zero discount, was $800 more than the original quote. Apparently corporate was fine to just “not move us” if we didn’t like that.So we said nevermind we’ll rent a Uhaul, can we get our deposit back? Oh well, gotta talk to some other person about that. And now we have to email whomever to try to claw that back.We are very understanding that problems come up, and we were very patient about this despite not knowing what we would have done if we needed to be out at the end of the month.I would give this company 0 stars if I could. For corporate, who apparently don’t care about the people who hired them.Nick from the Kitchener office was great though.

For people who are looking for a job as a mover or driver, don't bother applying to this place unless you're looking for fast cash. I got hired in July/August 2022 and only worked three shifts for this company since (even though I'm still hired and on file). It's a first-come, first-serve/seniority type of position for the mover/driver position and the organization for this company, in terms of receiving T4s and such is abysmal. When I would always call or reach out for shifts/documents, the higher staff would be unresponsive via phone unless I went to the place. They also close the place at 10 AM/11 AM so you have to be there early to even receive a shift or reach out to staff as they're always away at a location.As everyone, including the boss and higher staff, works the same positions as well for the most part, getting a shift or receiving an update on your work schedule is rare for first-time hires unless you're really good in the position. But even then, it's mainly seniority. There may be slow periods or even limited shifts, but for a moving company, there must be some shifts for certain employees to take to not overwork their senior members. Pay usually comes in cheques and you have to go to the place and pick it up, rather than receiving it via mail.Many other moving companies are always seeking many movers/drivers for more shifts, so for any potential movers/drivers, take my advice and not send your resume over to this place.

Had a great experience with You Move Me, which was recommended by our real estate agents who had used them for their own move.The initial intake was super easy using video call image recognition, and the estimate was pretty accurate at the end of the day.On moving day, Kevin and his team showed up on time, communicated very well throughout, worked hard and efficiently, and constantly asked what more they could do, or if we had changed our minds e.g. to move certain pieces to different spots. They were extremely accommodating, and were very personable as well.Definitely will use them again.

Will never work with them again. We used them to move our office, and they broke 6 monitors and 1 TV. I have not heard from them since and they have charged our card.

I booked for a Thursday afternoon at 4pm move. At 4.30 I was calling them as no one had arrived. I was promised a huge discount if I could rebook for Monday. I immediately made arrangements with my landlord and condo elevator booking system. It seemed they forgot about me.I was billed $200 more than the estimate. No response to my emails. No invoice was sentJust a charge on my credit card. I have asked for a copy of my receipt but no response. Jimmy answered my call....no help at all. They are cash steapoed and can't refund me. They will take it off my next move? Then he asked ME for a copy of the receipt....but I never had it to begin with!Still no response...no help...nothing!Don't bother.The 2 guys who did my move were amazing. Very great guys! But Jimmy and the admin suck! Totally don't use this company.

I know I am not alone in saying that “GTA MOVING” can be very stressful given the necessity to schedule a sequence of events involving four separate contacts and in my case all within a 2 week timeframe!The elevators and You Move Me were coordinated to facilitate the move of a small 1 bedroom condo. The move was scheduled for Monday July 31, 2023 with only 20 minutes between the MOVE-OUT and MOVE-IN condominiums. Everything was in place.When Dave & Levi arrived at the MOVE-OUT location with a very large moving van they were immediately faced with a van obstructing the site preventing the maneuvering of their moving van into the loading dock. Thankfully there was a telephone number on the obstructing van which resulted in quick communication and relocation.Once in the loading bay, the next hurdle was access to a service elevator as the condominium which had two elevators had one inoperable for more than a month!! The concierge assisted with allowing 15 minute intervals in the only operable elevator to facility the move from the 4th floor to the loading bay however it was met with great disappointment by the residents (and justifiably so) that they had to wait or take the stairs. The added stress was if the elevator was not properly placed in service mode and/or the door was obstructed in any way it would shut down the only elevator operating within the entire building!! OMG what could go wrong??!!I observed Dave (lead mover/driver) and his assistant Levi handle the situation with a positive attitude while offering to take residents to their floor prior to placing the elevator on service.Dave and Levi moved items from the condo to the elevator for a quick load/unload which lessened the impact to the residents of the building. I would often say “This item is very fragile.” and Dave would assure me that everything is fragile when it comes to a move I smiled and stepped away as they strategically picked what to take next. Within 1.5 hours the entire condo was emptied and soon after they were en-route to the MOVE-IN location in downtown GTA during rush hour!!The MOVE-IN location required precision driving given the narrow alley to the loading dock. Together Dave and Levi orchestrated the large moving van into position and began the off-load which again was completed strategically and quickly.Given their moving expertise and Dave’s many years of experience there was NO DAMAGE to any personal items or the condominium common areas which resulted in full reimbursement of the damage deposits.The move was complete and I could not have been more pleased with the service provided by YOU MOVE ME.The next morning I receive a call from Dave, who quickly apologized for the early morning call. He was preparing the truck for the next job and noticed an item was left on the truck that was nicely wrapped in a black blanket. We had looked together to see that all items were off loaded the day prior but this item was small and not visible to us. Dave assured me that this item would be delivered within the same day by a colleague or he would personally deliver it after work!! WOW, this is exceptional customer service above and beyond what I would have expected. The item was delivered by his colleague Jordan that evening making the move complete to Dave’s satisfaction.My experience with YOU MOVE ME was FIVE STAR without any hesitation. Dave and Levi were excellent movers and I will 100% select them for my next move and highly recommend their services to anyone looking to move in the GTA.A Highly Satisfied Customer, D. Griffiths

Jimmy came out to see what was needed, provided a reasonable quote and the job was done on time, professionally and quickly. We were moving files and tech items to an offsite storage facility - You Move Me got the job done! thx!
