Amazing place, however I think you guys can use less boxes. I ordered 10 steaks and got 10 boxes, 1 steak per box, seems like a huge waste of boxes.

I've got grass fed steaks from here several times. The quality is great to me. They are slightly aged so the steaks will have a bit of a difference flavor than a fresh cut steak. I like this personally. The staff has been very friendly to me in store.

I purchased 2 pieces that were supposed to be 3 pounds each but the first piece was almost 2 pounds and the second was 2.5 pounds. I sent 3 emails, left 3 voicemails and nobody returned a single message. I spent a lot on my first few orders, I though this would be a go to place for me, however after realizing the portions were far less than stated on my 4th order and their poor service, I don't think I will deal with them again. There are many other companies that have great service and transparent pricing, I would recommend using one of them.

Mixed value from this place, customer sevice is non-existant and going to the store is like participating in a clown show with no clear way to but something and disinterested emplyees who try and hide from you. If you want to order in advance for pick up you will need to pack your patience and get ready to stand in various line ups.As fas as the goods go I've have been very pleased with some items but then really disappointed with others. It's a mixed bag. For example: Rack of lamp was perfect but we found feathers and bone in the ground chicken.Buyer beware, this place must be focused on restaurant delivery because they really can't deal with retail customers.

I have been extremely impressed with customer service at The Butcher Shoppe!At Xmas time there was confusion with my order and they went out of their way to make sure I was happy. I even got a follow-up call.This week I bought a product and I was not happy with it at all. I responded to one of their emails advertising a product just by saying I didn’t like my last order. I truly did not expect a response let alone a quick response. Siggi was followed up and responded quickly and ensured I was happy and took great care of me! I will most definitely return to The Butcher Shoppe and refer to my friends!Thank you Siggi!!!!

I have been wanting to try this store out for some time and I could not have been more disappointed with the service and treatment from store and phone ordering staff. Find a different store!!I called a couple of days ago asking if i could come in and pick the cut of meat I wanted. The very nice lady on the phone said yes this was possible but I would have to wait usually an hour to get it cut. This was acceptable and went to the store this morning first thing at 7am I walked asked if i could see some cuts. The two people said I was not able to see anything and what I wanted was special order and would take until past 12:00 pm to see and cut.Thank you to the two staff this morning for being so rude I will never come back to your store nor will ever recommend this to anyone.

EDIT: Nov. 14 - We finally had someone reach out from The Butcher Shoppe. They apologized for the delay in getting back t us and for the inconvenience. They offered a gift card for the full value of the Salmon. Which is more than fair. Will order from them again.Placed our first order with The Butcher Shoppe recently. Ordered some chicken thighs, breasts and Canadian Atlantic salmon. Immediately put the meat into the freezer once delivered. A few weeks later, my wife and I made the salmon and it had a very fishy smell and taste. We cooked and prepared the salmon no different than we have any other time we’ve bought it from another place.Reached out to The Butcher Shoppe over a week ago to let them know that we received a sub-par product than what we paid for/was advertised. They have yet to reply and I doubt we’ll hear back from them.I’m sure their meat is excellent. We had no issues with the chicken. However, they need to work on their customer service. For that reason, I doubt we’ll order from them again in the future.

Purchased an Australian Wagyu brisket from the Butcher Shoppe and put a lot of time and energy into it. It was my first time smoking a brisket and I was worried it wouldn't be worth the effort. It ended up being worth every penny and two days worth of prep of cooking. The picture doesn't do it justice, it was incredibly juicy. Everything I've bought here has been excellent, their ground turkey is delicious.

Whoever drives your delivery truck is a maniac! Tell them to slow down and drive more safely, and perhaps consider not tailgating. And lay off the horn. Appalling behaviour today on our quiet one way street from our front porch.

On June 28, 2023 they must have seen that I was desparate. I needed half a turkey for a dinner. I went to Metro, Loblaws and No Frills and could not find any turkey (even Farm Boy). So in desparation I went to the Butcher Shoppe and they had half a turkey and of course I bought it. For half a turkey costed me $58.00. I was shocked but desparate.Due to an illness of a couple of dinner guests, the dinner was cancelled. So now I have this HALF TURKEY at $58.00 sitting in my freezer. A week later went to Metro in Oakville and found a fresh Turkey half that cost me $21.00. I just shook my head. Don't go to this place....they really robbed me blind because I was desparate.My own error. A lesson learnt but highway robbery and shame on the owner to do something like that. !:(
