I just want to shop in peace, the shock of groceries is enough. I don’t need to be bothered by people pushing cell plans or anything. When someone says no thank you that means no thank you.

This is a strategic outlet, most necessities are at least 30% more. It’s specifically designed to be, it’s the only store in walking distance from many lower socioeconomic shoppers. Jane and finch stores are exactly the same, higher prices due to lower income class.

This Sobeys is okay. It didn’t feel like a real Sobeys to me it wasn’t bright or big. The bakery wasn’t good ? and that’s what I went there for. I did end up buying a cookies and cream cake and it did taste very good. The store was clean and staff were very friendly.

Wendy the sweetest person ever picked up the phone when we asked if they sold rotisserie chickens. She went out of her way to check if they had any coming out of the oven and saved one for us. Thank you Wendy!

The lady with glasses at the lottery counter has a serious attitude issue, she had no problem standing and politely gossiping with the cashier though.

Super fresh, open late, and they always have hot food waiting and ready To Go. The deli always has a wonderful selection of meats and cheeses.

The mall is quite run down and can look off putting, but this Sobey's is great. Bigger than it looks and has a great selection of items.

This is by far the worst Sobey's I have ever been to. Sobey's is a premium grocery store like Metro and Loblaws. This store is run down and poorly managed and operated.
It is unlike any Sobey's I have been to. I have several issues with this location. I do my grocery shopping on Thursday mornings when the weekly sale begins. On numerous occasions sale items are not on shelves or can't be found.
Whenever I've inquired staff have told me one of the following; there was a mistake, we're waiting for delivery or they sold out (it's 8am store opened 7am).
The vegetables especially leaf veggies are poor. They should be removed from shelf due to rot. Iv'e been to this location various times of the day. There are always more staff than customers just like RONA.
Lastly I laughed during my last visit. On a Thursday morning I couldn't find a hickory smoked ham shank Sobey's had advertised so I asked the store manager.
He told me he doesn't know when they'll get it. I asked if the store @ Queensway east of Park Lawn has any he said he doesn't know and attempts to sell me other meat products instead. I was in absolute disbelief.
I went to the other Sobey's location and they did have the product. I will no longer shop at Kipling and Queensway Sobey's. The other location is about 10 minutes away. It's worth the drive.

Convenient, quaint and free parking. Special shout out to Bozena in the Bakery department - she is absolutely amazing, and so wonderful at what she does.
