Staff know little about their own store services, at least the ones I’ve spoken to at cash out! And the hours are archaic.

We recently had the most unpleasant experience at Rexall Store located in Cloverdale Mall at 250 The East Mall, and it’s the store manager, Danila, was solely responsible for this worst experience. We bought a 500 gift card from the cashier, Sanjida, on Thursday, October using our visa card. However, since I paid for it and however, as Sanjida was unable to activate the gift card then, Sanjida tried 3 times to refund our money but in vain. All the times, we got the refund receipt that said “05 NOT COMPLETED.” In spite of the fact that Sanjida reiterated that the refund was unsuccessful and that we showed Danila 3 different “05 Not Completed” failed attempts for refund, Danila insisted that the refund was successful and that her screen displaced the refund. Danila was quite unprofessional, impolite, and disrespectful the entire time. She was not ready to listen to us at any cost although it was our money. She even didn’t listen to her employee let alone care for our transaction or money. Then we had to return home empty handed, as we were asked to wait for 24 hours for the refund to show up in our account. When we were about to leave the store, she laughed and made fun of us behind, without realizing that we could hear them. It was really offensive! On Wednesday, October 9, when we noticed via our mobile app that the refund was unsuccessful, we went back to the store and saw Danila. Without our saying anything, she said that she knew that the refund was unsuccessful and asked us to see her back the following day for our refund. She said that she didn’t have enough cash to refund (we didn't ask her for our refund in cash, though). We said that she could simply refund it to our same visa credit card. It didn’t have to be in cash, as we would have to go to the bank to deposit the money, which was again an inconvenience. But why would she care for our inconvenience, eh? She answered negatively. On Thursday, when I visited her store for refund, she started asking me when the transaction took place and so forth. That was simply irritating, but I didn’t say a word because I wanted my refund first. I didn’t utter any negative comment any of the times because I wanted to provide everything in writing, as I am doing it right now--I tend to believe in the power of these written words. Finally, she gave us our refund in cash and she went back to her office. She didn’t say ‘sorry’ or express apology in any way – she didn’t say anything about our patience or inconvenience! That was simply a pathetic behaviour of a manager who has been in a leadership role. I keep asking myself: Why did Danila hesitate to refund the amount to the card I used? Why did she prefer to issue the refund in cash instead? Why did she make us visit her store 3 times to get our money back? I initially thought that Rexall’s staff members are professional and respectful and that Rexall provides opportunities for professional development and to grow. But we were shocked when we experienced this worst behaviour from Danila, who, I think, really needs professional development opportunities to learn how to treat her customers or human beings appropriately and grow in her field. Anyways, I hope that the employees at Danila’s store are treated respectfully. I’ll never go back to or recommend this Danila’s store at all.

I was at rexall Cloverdale location and was accused of stealing a redbull when I was half done drinking it at the cash the manager was told by her associate that I needed help and manager approached me and asked me if everything was fine
I am not in a restaurant I did not steal the red bull it was purchased in the mall at convenience beside winners
Cashier asked me again if I needed to pay for it as I told him I had items in my hands from winners without a bag but had my receipt
THIS IS SO AWFUL O MY GOSH I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went return Amazon parcel and the old woman was so angry on me and frustrated and saying she is working since morning not interested to take the parcel .i left the counter because of her behaviour

Yesterday my son who is 14 got stopped by white blonde lady with glasses for being suspicious. She asked him to see his pockets which he had his lunch box and juice. My son told me everytime he goes there with his friends they get harassed by employees. This place is racially profiling them because they are Black and Arab kids. This place needs to do better. As for our family we will never shop from your store again.

I wish there was and half staff to give. This location accommodate and tolerate racism especially from a specific Post Office Worker. She has a problem serving person from the BIPOC community and yet still she is allow to treat customer any way she likes and not has happen. Rexall should not accommodate or tolerate no form of racism especially in 2024. Enough is enough!

Terrible service on Saturday morning. Not talking about the pharmacy, but staff inside the store. Rather unpleasant and unhelpful, except for the person working in the cosmetic area, who was great. When asked what time the gates to mall opened, as I had been and there was someone else waiting there, staff member said "I don't know, maybe 11." Turns out should be 10am. And they didn't know? They don't open the mall doors till that particular cashier arrives apparently. Checkout counter cashier at street side cashed me out without saying a word until I said "thank you" and even then just kind of grunted. Seemed as though people who work there are not happy. I never usually write bad reviews but this was noticeable. I left the store with a kind of depressed feel. I am white caucasian but that shouldn't matter.

I generally get into my doctors appointments within 45 minutes to 2 hours of me arriving at my scheduled time. Don't have any other plans in your day if you have an appointment here. Reception is mostly rude on the phone as well

Worst experience at the beauty section. I was approached by this employee ( blonde lady with glasses) and I respectful declined any assistance as I'm well aware of the products I want. But this lady pretty much followed me to every aisle making me uncomfortable. I also witnessed her asking another couple leave the store because they touched something. Is touching anything prohibited? I couldn't help but write a review in regards to this because she is the same lady who asked me friend to leave last weekend when she was using the tester at the nuxe counter. What are testers for? I get customer service is hard but if can't do your job .... LEAVE!HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO BE HUMBLE AND SENSITIVE TO OTHERS ? IT BREAKS MY HEART AFTER SEEING HOW EMBARRASSED SHE MADE THE COUPLE FEEL TODAY.I read the other reviews and realized so many reviews about THE LADY at the cosmetic section. I truly believe it is time for the owner to coach this employee. I have visited many rexall stores and other drug marts but never have been followed and watched. Is your employee thinking that we -colored people would steal something? Because I noticed other people in the store not being bothered with this behavior. This is classic case of racial profiling.Humble request for other customers... plesss take your business elsewhere. I left the store without making a purchase and never returning to this store again. ?

This Canada Post location only has one attendant who takes a lunch break at noon, so you can't get a receipt when dropping off a parcel. I recommend trying another location with more uplifting customer service. The vibe here was very off.

I see another review in the same vein and I have to add to it so store owner can be made aware that it is not a one-off. Extremely uncomfortable experience in the beauty section. A staff person watched me and followed me around continuously. At one point I made eye contact with them too and was hoping they would give me some space. I have to add, the other people in the store were not being subjected to this “supervision” and I have to, inevitably ask, if this is to make people who look like me feel a particular way? Will not come back here.
