The staff were very helpful, showed great customer service and compassion during the time when my grandfather passed in July. I do thank you again as well as behalf of our family during that difficult time.
I didn't think I would be back in 2 year after my grandfather and they cared and served my family well during the time of my uncle's passing. Thank you all again for all you do!
2 years later, our family came back for the 3rd time for another service for another Uncle. Staff did cater to our family's needs and did a good job. Thank you again!

It’s a good choice but there are a few areas that need improvement. I have been here twice, once for a friend and once for my grandpa. The service is good but it is very expensive. We had a basic casket and cremation for my grandpa and the total was over 4500. Im not going to complain too much about the price as I understand inflation rates but we didn’t even get that good of a casket. Secondly, one of the workers who was wearing a turban at this time was aggressive with the casket, when it was time to close, my grandpas head was sticking out a bit and instead of lowering it using the adjustable screws on either side of the casket, he pushed down the lid and squished my grandpas face. All in all, it’s a good place but they’re not gentle with your loved ones but they are already dead so it shouldn’t matter.

Went here today for our 10am appointment to discuss funeral pre-planning. The person we were meeting with was still not there at 10:20am. The owner walked right past my father and didn't return my father's "hello" despite the fact that the owner had met my father when he was trying to drum up business at a seniors center! The staff were arrogant and rude and unprofessional. We walked out.

When you have lost your loved ones, the last thing you want is hassle in arranging for funeral. The staff members Raymond and Edith were really considerate and kind in their words. It was Edith's day off so Raymond helped me and picked up from where I left with Edith. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

The Beckford and extended family are sincerely appreciative of the excellent service and support we received from Palwinder and her team during our time of bereavement. Andrew Williams and his team were extremely professional and handled their duties on site at the funeral service and graveside with the utmost care and respect. The Lotus team is also very ethnically diverse which was also pleasant to see. From start to finish Lotus has been responsive, patient & professional with excellent service. Everything was handled promptly and any revisions we asked for were done as requested. We highly recommend them and were able to trust them completely with the final care of our dear Uncle. Extremely rude owner. It was a difficult time in our family and the owner behavior was disgusting. Firstly, the owner decides to make a crude insulting joke when we asked him a simple question. The question posed to him was simply, "WHEN will we receive the zoom link?" The point was to know when it would be available to share with our family in other countries. His response was a sarcastic "after the funeral." And then he goes on to say "you people love to share things on whatsapp prematurely." It was abhorrent behavior. My mother-in-law was in tears and he had the audacity to speak that way. Secondly, he continued on bragging about how he's giving us such a great discount. Every time we asked him if something is available he keeps responding "do you want to pay more?" We aren't experts in the funeral business, instead of explaining things to us, instead his demeanour was this is what you get so just shut up and pray. I would encourage anyone considering this funeral home to look elsewhere during such a troublesome time.

The past year has brought its share of challenges, with four of my friends experiencing the loss of family members. Three of them chose Lotus Funeral Home. While I don't have any complaints about the management, it's important to note that the expenses incurred were significantly higher than expected, ranging from three to four times the norm.In such difficult times, it's crucial to exercise caution. I would recommend entrusting the responsibility of finding a suitable place to lay your loved one to someone you trust, as making clear decisions can be challenging during such emotional moments.To illustrate, three of my friends utilized Lotus Funeral Home and incurred costs exceeding $10,000, while the fourth chose St. John's Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium, where the expenses were one-third of that amount, particularly given that the death occurred in Montreal.Take care and be mindful of your expenditures during these trying times. I don't have any personal affiliations, but I simply want to offer guidance and assistance.

My mom passed away at home and this funeral home sent the most unprofessional, disgusting staff members to pick her up. I almost told them that I wanted to cancel everything. There was a larger man with glasses who smelled severely of cigarettes and alcohol. He could barely walk straight and he had very obvious food and debris stained into his shirt. It looked like he was sent from a homeless shelter! Upon arrival to my home he flicked a cigarette butt into my drive way and then smiled at me. This is so gross!

Do not book your funeral with lotus! They tried to rush my cousin's funeral because they had overbooked. They spoke to his mother rudely and with no compassion. Honestly shocking the staff aren't given grief training. Terrible funeral home!
