Just came to get a prom dress. The guy was so rude to me. Telling me that nothing is gonna suit / fit me, get out of the store, I don't wanna sell you anything. What kind of language is that. Is it how you treat a customer? How rude it is to act like that. What do you think you are??? Other customers was also supporting me what do you think you are? Nothing else than being rude and loosing costumers....

I write great reviews when deserved and I write reviews with opportunities such as this one and my experience here.It was a disappointing experience overall. I had brought my mother (76) to look for an outfit for her first grandson who was getting married and she saw something she liked 3 weeks ago. I spoke to the gentleman who owned the place and asked if he could give a discount and happily agreed that he could honor $110 for the $119 dress. He handed me his business card and I thought his first impression was very good.I was able to revisit the store last week to have my mother try on the dress this time (she suffers from arthritis so was not able to try it on 3 weeks ago) I loved the dress on her and she wanted it. I revisited the conversation of the $10 savings but now he refused, saying that the canadian dollar went up and the mall overhead is more and the dresses were a new batch so therefore he was not able to offer the $10 discount. Really????????????????????????????????It's not about the $10 I said, its about doing the right thing as a business man, perhaps (but I doubt it) he would take a $10 loss but as a business man he should have taken the cut and would have had a customer for life. It was a very sad state of affairs. If not for my mother who really loved the outfit I would have never bought the dress from him and given him the business ess as dress stores are a dime a dozen. I hope he treats others better or if not then its sad to say he will not have a fruitful business. He needs to make the customer happy but more importantly keep his word. Never going back......EVER!!! Recommend 0%

This isn't a large store but they pack stuff in. This is only women's wear. Most of the things are a reasonable price and a good variety of sizes. I usually get something at Julie's every few months, often gifts.Not high-end but affordable.
