To the TEAM (Togather Each Achieve More) at Glendale Funeral Home Mr. Brad Manager, Ms. Kathleen and team partner who worked along side her, and Miss Sheriffa were extremely professional, polite, and supportive and full of compassion. Their organizational ability was one of excellence before and during the service provided on Saturday, June 15th, 2024, as my family and I celebrate the life of my grandmother Evangelist Gloria Learline Daley. The staff members
greetings were phenomenal and make you want to keep visiting. Wonderful Funeral Home. With sincere thanks, Jewel.

Lovely cemetery but please...for the love of God, stop driving over the graves with your tractor. People pay a lot of money for grave markers, and this damages them. Probably the reason why so many graves are missing year of birth or death. Anyway, I had to give you this feedback under the benefit of the doubt that perhaps you are unaware. Please take a second look at your lawn care practices or I'll have to post photos.

We cannot thank Kimberley Cristobal enough as she warmly, patiently & compassionately took care of our needs at this difficult time. Just when we needed her the most and after being subjected to unkind dealings from three other Glendale representatives, we felt blessed by her sweet & loving care. I hope she is an inspiration to them, an example worthy of praise & imitation. Thank you, Kimberley, for the deepest part of our hearts. You are special and amazing for this calling.

The loss of a sacred loved one is the saddest and most challenging time for any family. Having to make arrangements is a process that no one wants to have to do. Glendale Funeral Home and Cemetery provided compassionate care to our entire family and ensured that my dad's wishes were honoured. Michele was a dignified humble family man and his service reflected who he was thanks to the wonderful staff at Glendale. Our family would like to thank Wendy, Amanda and Heather Norman in particular for making the process compassionate and effortless. These wonderful women conducted themselves with such kindness, integrity, professionalism and patience. They answered all inquiries efficiently and promptly. They made extra time to address all that what was needed. Heather, thank you for the warm smile that greeted us upon entry. It reflected the kindness of your heart. Wendy and Amanda, a dynamic duo that were so easy to work with. Their professionalism, kindness and knowledge was duly noted. These 3 women are top notch and the reason that Glendale will be selected again for any funeral/cemetery arrangements. Glendale has done a great job of selecting the appropriate staff to meet the needs of their community members. This team of 3 women need to be commended for all their combined efforts. On behalf of our family and loved ones, a heartfelt thank you.

Our family was so pleased with the kindness, compassion, and professionalism that was extended to us by Glendale’s staff for our mom’s funeral. Their guidance made everything as easy as possible. They listened and responded appropriately to every question and request. We felt very supported during this difficult time. Special thanks to Mikaela for meeting with us on Easter Sunday for the initial planning, and to Lisa for warmly accompanying us throughout the visitation, funeral, and after care.

My family & I would like to thank Glendale, & in particular, a special thank you to our DIrector, John D’Alelio — for a seamless experience with our end-of-life arrangements.
John created a comfortable environment for us — not once making us feel pressured or rushed. An extremely personable & patient guy — clearly made for this business.
As strange as it sounds, for me, it was a better experience than buying my truck.
Thank you once again.

The smartest decision that I've made in ages was to preplan all of my funeral arrangements four days ago with Gioia Salvadori, the Cemetery and Funeral Pre-Planning Director at Glendale Funeral Home & Cemetery. It wasn't an easy decision for me to do so because it's a very uncomfortable subject to think about one's own mortality. But, I am so glad that Gioia patiently, kindly and professionally presented me with all of the options and led me to the perfect full package to satisfy my own needs. She was great. I feel relieved now in knowing that it's all done and that my Executor will have a much easier, and less expensive time in making the arrangements; nothing much left to do!Gioia brought me around the beautifully-manicured cemetery grounds. We toured the All Saints Mausoleum - an elegant, beautiful, spotless, four-storey building that is open 24 hours a day for visitors to mourn their interred loved ones interred in niches or crypts. I can't imagine a nicer mausoleum. We toured their funeral home next door where a funeral service was in progress. Again, elegant and first-class in all respects.Gioia answered all of my questions thoroughly and gave me all of the necessary pre-planning information, including payment options. She did not rush me at all in making up my own mind about what I wanted to do. It was an easy decision to finalize everything during that same meeting with Gioia. Why wait any longer? The helpful pamphlet called "87 Decisions Choices and Things to Do" is a helpful guide for thinking about preplanning a funeral. Thank you to Arbor Memorial for this pamphlet. I've brought home extra copies to share with my neighbours for their own purposes.I planned for exactly what I wanted and am happy that Arbor will absorb any price increases of products/services in future so that it will not cost anything more. Prices increase everywhere on everything, funeral arrangements included, of course. But, where else can you get such a guarantee that there won't be any increased prices to pay in future? It is like a real estate investment that I have made for my final resting place. I am very happy with all of the arrangements and the excellent customer service from Gioia, the licenced Pre-Planning Director. She had warned me that prices for the funeral home's costs, cremation, etc. could increase again later in the year. Goes up every year, of course. So, I saved money right away by committing to the monthly payments to be made for a year. Much better than paying it off right away and I get points on my credit card for the monthly charges. I really don't see the point in buying an insurance plan to pay for funeral costs in future; better to pay for it now, in my own opinion.Big recommendation from me about Glendale Funeral Home and Cemetery, especially for anyone to preplan!

Please keep Wendy Wyatt as a member of staff as during the planning of our Dad's visitation, funeral service & burial Wendy was always around when needed. Wendy went & found hot chocolate for Janet & myself who don't drink tea or coffee. I want to Thank Wendy for being at my side when I made the confirmation that's my Dad in the casket. Janet & I also want to Thank Wendy for letting us light the candles for our Dad. We also want to Thank Wendy for letting Janet & myself be very on hands to walking behind our Dad to having us put our hands on Dad's casket to helping carry our Dad to the waiting vehicle & from the waiting vehicle to wheel our Dad to his final resting place next to our Mom. I don't know how to say Thank You to Wendy Wyatt & to all the people who made our goodbye to our Dad a beautiful event from beginning to end. Wendy Wyatt is a blessing to Glendale Funeral Home & Cemetery. Thank You Wendy for all your support during this difficult time. Diana Brandenburg, Harold Brandenburg's Daughter.

Our family would like to thank the staff at Glendale Funeral Home for the excellent service they provided during our father’s viewing and funeral. They all showed compassion and kindness throughout this difficult time. Specifically, we would like to thank our funeral director, Ivan Dias. His attention to the little details during the funeral service has left a lasting impression on our family and we are grateful for his hard work. We would recommend Glendale funeral Home and Ivan to anyone who is in need of a beautiful and thoughtful service for their loved one. Thank you again.-The Ottorino Family

The team at Glendale Funeral Home & Cemetary went above and beyond during a really tough time for our family. Brad White, in particular, was incredible—so kind and understanding. He guided us through everything, not just the practical stuff but also emotionally, letting us know what to expect, what may help and how we may react throughout the process. Thank you Brad, we truly appreciate everything that you did for our Family. You genuinely made such a positive impact during this very difficult time. From the visitations to the service and reception, everyone and everything at Glendale was top-notch.Reverend Scott was fantastic, taking the time to get to know our loved one through us and making the ceremony really personal. He balanced it all so well, mixing in some moments of lightness to help ease the heaviness. Reverand Scott is a true Gem and we were very blessed to have you at the helm of this service.Marie, Robbie, Vinny, and Mel were like a well-oiled machine, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we had whatever we needed. Thank you for your kindness and hard work to ensure the services went even better than anticipated. To the folks that worked in the background, your attention to detail when preparing our loved one for their final goodbye was touching. Every little wish was honoured perfectly, right down to how we wanted her hair to rest. Thank you for your attention to detail. It really made all the difference in the world to us.I do apologize if I missed anyone in this as the last week seems to be a bit of a blur, however, we are genuinely grateful to all involved in ensuring that we didn't have to worry about the details. The staff at Glendale are true professionals and were able to effectively anticipate our needs and ensure that our Family was taken care of in our time of need. Thank you Glendale staff!I can't recommend Glendale Funeral Home enough. They handled everything with such care and professionalism, making a tough time significantly easier for us. If anyone is looking for a place to honor a loved one, this is it! Thank you to the whole team for everything you did!~Krista's Family
