"Recently had the chance to stop by an ESSO gas station in Toronto and was quite impressed with my experience. The location was very convenient, situated close to major roads and easily accessible. Upon arrival, the station was clean and well-maintained, which is always a pleasant sight. The pumps were in good working order and fueling was quick and hassle-free, which is much appreciated during a busy day.The service here deserves a special mention. The staff were friendly and professional, willing to assist with any queries. Inside the convenience store, I found a wide variety of snacks, drinks, and essential car accessories, making it a one-stop shop for travelers. The prices were competitive, aligning well with what you'd expect in the area.Another aspect worth noting is the station's commitment to safety and cleanliness, particularly in the current climate. Sanitizing stations were available, and social distancing measures were clearly in place, offering peace of mind.Overall, my visit to this ESSO gas station was a positive experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through Toronto, it's a reliable spot for refueling and grabbing any necessities. Would definitely recommend and return."”
“Small station, Ill take a picture next time but they do have an air machine, it's located in a good spot on the north east corner of the property closer to the road\sidewalk.”

1000 The Queensway, Etobicoke“I stopped in 9am Saturday morning to fill up and get a car wash to rinse away the winter salt accumulation on my SUV.The store attendant was SUPER friendly and helpful - I had some trouble entering my code at the wash station and she came out quickly to assist and explain to me what I did wrong.Their car wash is touchless / no rails which is why I chose this location. I opted for the standard wash because I was only looking for the undercarriage, heavy soap wash and dry only. It did a decent job but the back of my suv still had some salt marks and the dry time is less than a minute.I’d still give this a solid 8/10. Will definitely come back when I’m in the area and on a nice day I’ll give the ultimate wash a try.”

613 Evans Ave., Etobicoke“best gas station in Etobicoke, one employe is very helpful and kind. I forgot my wallet and my phone and Devanshu, an employee there, held it up for me. It was after 10:30 PM and he waited for me to collect it before leaving. Anyone could have easily just switched it off and used up the cash but he took the higher ground.”

They are always offer the items which are on good deal to save our money. Store was well organized and cleaned. Also, I used washroom which is Cleaned. Thanks.”
“I like grocery stores. It comes from grocery shopping with my mom as a kid. Sure, it's a part of life and is much needed. I always felt that they were cool places to spend time looking at a ton of products that make me curious and happy. I needed to get a bunch of items to make a Thanksgiving meal. During this pandemic, such special meals brought me grocery shopping at either Sobeys or Longo's. I know the layout of both my usual stores well. I wanted to change things up, though.Confession: I like supermarket shortcuts. We all should embrace them. One of mine is getting Stove Top stuffing and adding veggies to it. I was looking for a good price on stuffing that didn't force me to fight with the occasional crazy person at a major box store (starts with W and ends with -almart). I found it going for 99 cents at Fortinos.I do love Fortinos. Markham had one eons ago that was five minutes away from where I live. It left and I rarely go to any Fortinos. My closest ones are either in southern Scarborough (sounds exotic... lol) or Vaughan. On Saturday, I needed to pick up a couple of pre-orders in Mississauga. I remembered this Fortinos and decided to drop by on a soggy, rainy, gloomy day. This Fortinos is on my way home from work, which also feels like eons ago since I last went into the office. It's on Highway 27 in a vast plaza across from Woodbine Centre. I was more likely to hit the Winners nearby. There is a ton of parking. I found a parking spot fairly close to the entrance and exit. There is only one way to get in and out of the store during this pandemic, which is closer to Queens Plate Drive.I realized walking over to the entrance why I love Fortinos. It does little things to make your shopping experience more pleasant. There's a tunnel just before you hit the main doors that shields you from the elements. There's a huge banner indicating that healthcare workers get priority access, along with a nice thank-you message.I realize why I don't shop at Fortinos often, too. I can't get out of the store! I love seeing products that are new to me. I get completely excited about seeing gigantic meatballs that are ready to eat as a takeout meal, along with an amazing assortment of pizza slices. I wanted all of that, but had to stick with the shopping program. It's nicely organized in this supermarket. Wide lanes, Fresh produce. Clearly labelled sections and prices. I was so happy here! Who needs a happy pill when the high is natural... haha!During this pandemic, getting a whole turkey has been challenging in that you couldn't get a smaller one in weight. Well, it looks like things have changed. I managed to get an 11.5-pound one. So, instead of eating turkey leftovers for over a week, it's less than that now. Fortunately, I like leftovers, but it's nice to not shell out for a larger bird anymore.I found my stuffing. I grabbed a couple of boxes, as if I had won the jackpot. Prices at Fortinos tend to be on the pricier side, but they are fine if you get items that are on sale. There were perhaps three items that I got that weren't on sale, but the major items to make my meal were. I was happy. This supermarket is large. It has a similar feel to Zehrs in the Cambridge-Kitchener-Waterloo area, which I love. It's not overly large, but you do get a pharmacy and Joe Fresh. I could live here.I had a nice woman help cash me out. She and another woman bagged my groceries. It has been a while since I've seen a tag team bagging groceries. I have always defaulted to doing it myself.PC Optimum points are accepted here. I tapped using the barcode on my phone. I paid using a debit card. It was seamless.I wished both women a nice day. I then rolled my groceries over to my car. There was a man dedicated to sanitizing every single cart that was returned. I liked that.I passed by this grocery store yesterday, heading home from getting bagels and dairy-free cream cheese. Thank goodness it was closed for the holiday. Otherwise, I would have eaten my way through the market-style to-g”

540 Evans Ave., Etobicoke“It's a gas station. If you have a vehicle and need some gas, you can pull over and get some here. You can pay at the pump or prepay inside at the cash. I've never had any issues at this Esso. Just be careful when you pull in on the east side of the lot, the underground tank covers really protrude up and need to be driven over slowly. There are pay per use car vaccum cleaners here and a tire inflation machine.”

Charan has been amazing, always greeting me when I come in and taking care of me. I've seen tons of customers be disrespectful towards the entire family/staff which is disheartening but I've never seen them retaliate in any way. Plus, they have to deal with the onslaught of high school kids every day which is a nightmare! Very sad to hear that ownership is changing soon, they have some large boots to fill.”
“Great service, nice organized station, Staff are great help, Mr. Ibrahem was a great help taking the time explaining and helping me.

Today I had the pleasure of being served by Dhruti at 585 Dixon road who provided exceptional service!!!I was purchasing the 5 car wash card, but not only did she tell me about the free car wash promotion, she actually took the time to walk me through step by step how to register for the app and load the card onto it.Thank you again for your help and keep up the great work!!!”

677 Burnhamthorpe Rd, Etobicoke“This is one of my go-to gas stations. It's convenient, with an entrance on Burnhamthorpe only, no second entrance like many corner gas stations. However being a Shell, they have those special handles that fills up your car without you having to keep pressing on the handle; super handy during the window seasons. Price is decent as well.”
