It sucks to share a negative review given most people seem to have had positive experiences.
I shared how much stuff I had and was told the movers would come with a truck. They showed up with a trailer instead. A trailer and a truck are two different things. The trailer attached to the car made it difficult for the movers to manoeuvre around the streets and it took them much longer than needed to get to my new place. The drive from my old address to the new address should’ve been a five minute drive. Even considering traffic, it should not have taken them 30 minutes to get to the new place. Not sure what took them so long but the movers took forever in general and lacked urgency, taking multiple breaks which I was charged for. The three movers were extremely inefficient in general, took multiple smoke breaks, and would carry one to two small items at a time. I carried more than that just to help speed up the process.
I’ve moved every year for the past four years and the move never took this long. This time around, it took 6 hours with 3 people. In the past, it took 2 people to move everything in 4 hours top.
I decided to give this company a try because they had positive reviews and my go-to movers were not available this time around. Unfortunately, I feel like they took advantage of my roommate and I thinking we were two young, unassuming women who wouldn’t be able to say anything. Oh and of course, my email to the company after the move was ignored.
I would not recommend this company. There are far better and cheaper options in Toronto.
