I had a terrible experience with Best Deal Auto. They initially assured me they would perform specific services on my car, explaining in detail what would be done and giving me a set price. Based on that, I paid them upfront as requested. However, when I received my car back, I found no evidence that any of the promised work had been done. They handed me paperwork that supposedly documented the services, but nothing on it matched the actual condition of my car.
To make matters worse, I noticed parts had been swapped out for cheaper alternatives or incorrectly replaced, impacting my car’s overall performance. This shop took my money and failed to deliver on every promise they made. The lack of professionalism and transparency is astonishing, and I strongly recommend against trusting them with your vehicle. Beware of this place—they seem more focused on making a quick profit than providing honest, reliable service.

There are promising auto shops out there who are more transparent and affordable. I suggest you to avoid these guys if you are looking for better service!!!
Thank you for your prompt response!! First of all, you didn't know where I got this work done and don't come to conclusions without any proper information. The place where I got this work done is more skilled and transparent than your shady auto shop. The reason why i didn’t proceed with your shop is because of the labour charges that you quoted, 550cad plus taxes to just change break pads and rotors on both front and rear of a car. Considering omvic rule, you have charged 110cad per hour and you stated it requires 5 hours to do the job. Shame on you guys and any skilled OMVIC certified mechanic would do this job in 3 hours. So, please stop defending your bullshit terminology. I have seen you giving safety certifications even without inspecting vehicle just because it’s a new vehicle. There is no rule that new cars are exempted from inspecting. Hope OMVIC finds about it soon!! Wait, i will personally make this my mission to let them know whats going on!!! Good Luck in scamming people. Now shake your head?

Worst inspection ever, got in here for safety and they told repairs are needed and would cost $250 whereas i took to 2 other mechanics and they confirmed that repairs are unnecessary. Wasted my time, money and effort.

I recently had my front bumper replaced here due to an accident, and I was impressed with the quality and transparency of the work. Anita took care of everything and provided a reasonable deadline to get the work done, and they did deliver. I've never been to this shop, and I definitely recommend it. Anita is very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and calls, and provided updates on when things would be done. The parts came in quickly. I would definitely recommend this shop. Thank you!

"AVOID THIS PLACE! Worst service ever! They:
- Forced unnecessary repairs
- Charged for safety check without providing certificate
- Harassed and abused everyone ask to pay forcefully
- Demanded additional payment for certificate after I fixed the issue elsewhere
Unprofessional and deceitful.

UBER and LYFT drivers, PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS SHOP.....
I went to this shop for a car safety, and my experience was very disappointing. First, they charged me more than what was quoted in the application. Second, they suggested changing my brake pads to pass the inspection, the same routine they are following for everyone, and their parts are so expensive. The staff sitting on the front desk filled a paper, and without my permission, they removed tyre's and charged 77 $ just for unscrewing a single tire. They said im gonna die if i took the car from their shop. Impolite irritating words. This is how the staff gonna tell you if you say you don't need to do work from their.
It seems like they run a side business through these inspections.
Avoid this shop now they will come with some excuses please don't go to this shop .

I went to get an Uber safety certificate for my Mazda cx-5 in mid June. My experience with them has been both good and bad.
Yes, the safety certificate prices are not the same as the ones mentioned on the uber app, but the owners make it known beforehand itself. So, fair game on that.
Car was inspected quickly and I was asked to accompany the gentleman (Hardip Nanda?) inside. I was informed all was well except the brake pads, which were worn out and needed to be replaced. Being a first time car owner and a novice at mechanical aspects of a car, I just blindly nodded and agreed to the brake pad replacement. I was charged along the lines of 500~ish CAD for the 4 pad change and extra whatever for the Safety. Sadly my problems began after the new pads were installed. The car ran fine for about an hour but then it started producing a grinding noise whenever I would apply the brake. The problem would be worse in stop and go traffic.
I looked up the net and was recommended to wait for the new brake pads to settle. But the problem persisted, so I took the car after a couple of days to them. The mechanic working in the shop took it for a test drive, he said that he cdnt hear anything, and that it was some brake plate thing which was sticking out. I took the car away and went around doing uber, but the problem wasnt solved and I went back to them in an hour. This time it was Mr Nanda who test drove it and the noise was present. he took the car in and told me that they replaced the brake bracket and that the noise was gone. I drove the car again and the noise was gone, only to return 30 kms down the drive to my home. I didnt have this problem before the pad change.
I went again the next day. Their demeanor this time around was very off-putting. I was verbally rebuked by Mr Hardip at the door itself and was told that "they had done all that needed to be done and its not their problem now". The mechanic was in disbelief and inquired if I had opted to put premium brake pads ? I was charged 500 CAD and more for brake pads, YOU better have put in the best brake pads for the amount since their average cost on any auto part shop is around $100. Mr Hardip was visibly annoyed and threw in a couple of F letter bomb before agreeing to drive the car again. But this time on test drive there was no grinding noise. I explained to him that the noise only comes AFTER driving some time when brakes were hot. I told him I dont even mind paying extra if this is a problem not related to the brake pads. Mr hardip did cool down fairly quickly and advised me to drive the vehicle, saying it was just new brakes settling in and I should come back around 8 july if problem persisted.
The problem still persisted. I was able to figure that the brakes made noise only when hot and in stop and go traffic. The noise went away(temporarily) after driving on highway. I was advised by other people in the industry that if you do not replace the rotors when you change brake pads, you need to atleast turn them in/ grind it to be smooth. I was annoyed at this experience. I do not know if new brake pads or old rotors were the problem. I decided to take the matters in my own hands. I did some research, bought new pads and rotors from an auto part shop off the internet and installed them by myself. I spent a total of 380 CAD this time around and changed all the pads and rotors again AT HOME! NO MORE NOISE!! AT LAST!! of course I had to be sure of my work, so I went and got another safety check done. I cannot believe how easy a job it is to change pads and rotors and how much more I spend by not doing it myself. I guess there is a silver lining to everything, Mine was that I am now free of this recurring expense and learnt a valuable skill.
I liked the guys on1st visit. I just wish they treated me with a bit more respect and werent so visibly revolted by my presence there. I was not a fool to leave my business hour earnings and show up again and again. I leave this review in c
