Ive had nothing but good experiences at this Co-op gas location. I primarily come here for the propane (which is pay by volume, not flat rate!) because it is a very convenient location and the prices are fair. While it is true that service can be a bit slow here as compared to some other locations, I would still rather come here because of the professionalism and attention to detail.Tank checks are done every single time and the staff ensure that there are no leaks and that you've got a sticker in good condition.

They sell propane here but they don't train their staff so that they can use the equipment so you can get some, so you can't actually get any...the owners must be stupid.

The service is normally great at this station but at 4:30 pm today the young lad inside decided he was not coming out. He was not busy serving anyone inside since he was alone in there. People were pumping their own gas but I refused to do this and went in to get him. He was a bit insolent but did come out to do his job.

I Purchased 2 propane tanks in 2010 at the Co-op gas station located at: 753 Notre Dame Street, Embrun, ON K0A 1W1 and came to realize it was a painted used tank. I recently had them filled by a young attendant. 2 days later one was leaking. After several hours of leaking which began creating a white cloud, I took it back and was told it was normal in an extremely RUDE manner by one of the kids! I was upset and left the tank there. My wife dropped in today and was told the tank was sent to the administration office in Embrun. The tank was brought back to the gas station while she waited. She was told that the tank was overfilled by about 5 pounds and the regulator was replaced before. Thus, I was sold used propane tanks as new. They actually want us to purchase another tank from them. She was also treated rudely, this time by an older gentleman (not a kid)

It turns out that this place had the most expensive gas anywhere around by as much as .05 cents a litre, and it was inconvenient because you had to go inside to pay rather than at the pump, but it was conveniently closeby just when we needed it. Next time we will make sure to have a full tank of gas before going out to Embrun, thereby avoiding the need to visit here. Sorry for the bad review! :-(
