The “Mermaid in Elora” is our favourite shopping spot downtown. It has an eclectic atmosphere with its varied selection of unique items. It is located in an old house built in 1869 so there’s lots of rooms to explore. You can spend quite a bit of time in there shopping. Definitely a place worth visiting.

Beautiful and quirky little shops along the main street of Elora. Was very glad we stopped to check them out. Very unique finds. Would go back again, reminds me of the streets in the Hallmark movies.

Mermaid is one of my favorite stores! All the most interesting items and beautiful jewelry, and beautiful store front! Every time I get to go to Canada (I'm from Missouri) to visit my family, we HAVE to make a visit here!! This is also in a beautiful location!! ?
