“The Handwork Department is an awesome vintage shop. I saw a variety of items from; Typewriters, Cameras, Records, and Coins. From all different times from; the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70, 80s, and even from the late 1890s!
They also have items from all over the world, from The United Kingdom, to Chile, this place really has almost anything vintage, I highly recommend.”
“This store is the place to be! Great deals, amazing customer service and plenty of options. The quality on the custom tees are amazing! Will continue to shop here and make more purchases.”
“Outstanding experience just went there to buy a gift box end up loving their candles and buy one,Very good and caring customer supportWith cute puppy welcoming you to the shop! They have variety of gifts which is good for any occasion!”
“Pleasant antiques and whatnot shop. Nice people. Selection of lab glassware is interesting. I've bought a map drawer and various parts (cabinet handles, etc) plus the occasional Life magazine, etc. Don't skip the basement!”
“Great pieces & value. They don’t have as many items as vintage stores usually do but each piece is clean and in excellent condition. The girl at the front desk was super helpful & I walked away with a jacket & cardigan that are incredibly unique. Highly recommend :)”
“I got to say, this is my favorite little children’s thrift shop. I’m an active traveler and I find myself in Toronto for the most part. This little spot has so many different cool clothings for the kids. My daughter has a meltdown in excitement picking out her clothes here. Staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. Young lady at the counter named Chloe helped us so much last time we visited. Thank you Chloe!!”
“One of my favourite Vintage shops in Toronto!! The owner is wonderful as well. I've found so many gems here over the years, definitely recommend if your in the city!”
“Bought a dress for a friend's wedding here. Everyone loved it including me. A great store to look for something unique. The staff were very kind to help me to decide what suits me the best.”
“me and my friend went here and the clothing was super cute, the prices were great and the interior of the shop is super nice as well! I would recommend this store to a friend”
“Have been going here for years and it's one of my favorite thrift stores in the city. Great selection of stuff and competitive prices on really lovely pieces. The reason for the one star off is because within the last year, there have been three separate times where I've dropped by during advertised open hours, and they've just been closed. I would check their socials to see if there's been any disruptions and nothing. I've even dm'd them to inquire but no response. I saw some other reviews comment about the same issue. Just wanted to post this in case it happens to someone else.Super frustrating but hope things get worked out soon.”
“Kings Of Kensington is a true gem for vintage heads !! When I come into Kensington I always make an effort to check out there offerings and I never know what I will find. There staff is always helpful, patient, knowledgeable and always help me find that rare piece that I’m looking for. Thanks for the amazing Cowboy Boots I picked up today ✨??✨ at your shop !!”
“A nice variety of pretty well everything. Prices are reasonable. I.e. you will not find incredible deals, but neither will you be overcharged.
They have a great pricing program where the price will drop the longer the item is on sale. More places should do this.”
“Amazing customer service, when it was delivered they had it on a dolly for us to bring up to our apartment super quick and easily! The piece is in incredible condition, even better then the pictures showed! 10/10 ✨✨”
“In my opinion this is the best store for mens clothing. I love just about everything Matt has to offer. Great military vintage as well as there KH designs. Nothing but quality products here. I highly recommend you make a visit.”
“Beautiful store and mist friendly and knowledgeable staff who helped me so much patience today to pick out a few gorgeous pieces for my upcoming speaking gigs. I’ll be back every time I visit lovely Toronto.”
“I recently visited this fantastic vintage shop, and I was blown away by their incredible selection of vintage and Y2K clothing! They have such a wide variety of items, but I have to say, their dresses and babydoll tops are my absolute favorites. The quality of the clothing is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable, making it accessible for everyone who loves vintage fashion.
One of the highlights of my visit was interacting with Mandy, one of the employees. She is not only super sweet but also a beautiful person inside and out. Her friendly demeanor and helpful attitude made my shopping experience even more enjoyable. Last year, I had the pleasure of meeting Natasha, who I believe is the owner's daughter. She is also incredibly sweet and lovely, which speaks volumes about the kind of people running this shop.
Although I haven't had the chance to visit their Queen St W. location yet, it's definitely on my list of places to check out. Based on my experiences so far, I'm sure it will be just as wonderful. This shop has quickly become one of my favorite vintage stores, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for unique and stylish vintage pieces. ?✨”

“Penny Arcade Vintage is exquisite! Rachel has the best taste and picks truly beautiful vintage items of the highest quality at affordable prices. She picks gorgeous silks and knits, and the curation is top notch. There's also fantastic vintage home wares and art prints, as well as great 'new item' options like soaps, candles and skincare made by mostly local and Canadian makers. I love coming here and finding treasures, and it's one of my favourite local places to get gifts for people. Thank you Rachel!”
“I celebrated my birthday at Loved and Found recently with four other girlfriends. Michelle (the owner) and her staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had the loveliest evening ever! From a delicious appetizer spread paired with drinks, to scoring some amazing shopping finds, to making diner reservations for us at nearby Venga Cucina, I could not think of a better and more fun way to spend my birthday! I HIGHLY recommend the store and the experience!!”
“I’ve been meaning to post this for a while now: I will forever be thankful for the kind and knowledgeable staff who helped my husband out after our daughter was born.We were not expecting our baby to be arriving for a while yet and - though we had the larger items/furniture and baby hygiene items we’d need already - we didn’t have anywhere close to everything required for when baby came home.Well, things changed quickly for us after a routine checkup turned into an agressive induction and then an emergency c-section (don’t worry - baby is fine now, thankfully!).While I was still in hospital recovering from the c-section, and learning about taking proper care of my little one (she is my first baby), I begged my husband to go stock us up on the things we were missing. At the time I thought I was being clear, but I also hadn’t slept in two days and was on pain medication so… let’s just say he was left a bit confused on what to buy.Anyway, the wonderful staff at Twice As Nice took my very stressed-out and sleep-deprived husband under their wings and set him up well: adorable onesies (in the correct sizes!), tiny hats, swaddles (which he didn’t know existed until that moment haha), a very soft bath towel, burp cloths, and basically everything we were missing and needed at that point in time! It was a huge help to us, and I have been giving them our business ever since. Thanks, ladies!”
“Picked up the coziest hoodie yesterday; the price was super reasonable for luxury resale, and the quality and condition of the piece was like new. You can tell the owner really cares about the pieces he selects for the shop and maintaining their quality even as they get tried on. The collection at Garb consists of all super wearable pieces across the board: classic for evenings out, beautiful staples for work, high end athleisure for casual wear and everything in between. A wonderful variety of quality mid-range and luxury labels with a healthy range of prices to match. Oh, and I can’t forget, the most well mannered, darling dog who accompanies you as you browse the racks.”
“Love this store. They have a huge selection of amazing shoes, clothing and jewelry. The customer service is always amazing. I've consigned here as well. The process was seamlessly:)”
“Unbelievable place. The worker told me that this was the most curated of their three shops and the prices reflect that a bit but it is so worth it. I got a carthartt hooded vintage jacket, a pristine White Stag raincoat and a custom made raw silk jacket for under 90$ and with the us exchange rate it was an incredible deal.”

60 Kensington Ave, Toronto“extremely helpful and friendly staff! shout out tina for helping me find a perfect pair of vintage jeans and explaining what to look for in the future, had an amazing experience <3”
“Interesting vintage shop on queen street I almost always manage to find something to buy that’s interesting. Their selection of vintage T-shirts may be a little small but there is some interesting quality stuff to be found as well as other interesting items in other sections of the store. It is well organized and the staff are nice and helpful.”

928 Queen St W, Toronto“Love this store! They have really cute classic or more eclectic pieces and the staff are really helpful with making pairing suggestions and bringing different sizes to try on. I made an online order and decided to go in store to try on some pieces and swap out the regular priced items. Colleen was really helpful and attentive to make sure I had a good experience and found everything I needed. A great alternative to a typical store in a mall and supporting a small operation instead, great variety.”
“Great shop, great owner, great selection. Walked out with some SB Dunks for my son. Absolutely fantastic service. Will absolutely be back - probably too soon. Thank you!”
