“From start to finish, my experience with Merrilyn and the delivery team at Tasco Toronto on Dufferin was amazing.
I came into the showroom three separate times before finally deciding on a fridge, and every single time, I was greeted with kindness and patience. No pressure, no attitude, just genuine help. Merrilyn was an absolute gem. She helped me choose the right fridge and made sure it would fit by carefully checking my measurements.
On delivery day, the team noticed a dent in the door before unloading and immediately let me know. They didn’t try to hide it or “make it work.” They took it back and made sure I would get a new one. Merrilyn personally ensured the replacement fridge was carefully inspected, and when it arrived, the team even let me inspect it on the truck before bringing it inside.
The delivery team, led by Terry, was incredible. Professional, skilled, and thoughtful. He made the executive decision to remove the fridge doors to get it around my curved stairway and triple-checked that everything was aligned and level when reinstalling them. He even offered to replace my old water line with one that had a shut-off valve and went above and beyond by running water through the fridge to clear it properly, following the instructions.
I truly could not have asked for a better experience. Even with the first delivery (lead by Ryan), they cared enough to make sure I didn’t end up with an imperfect product and discover it later. That says everything about their integrity and customer service.
Don’t second guess it. Get your appliances from Tasco Toronto on Dufferin. You will not regret it.”

“Fantastic selection and variety for a big box store with friendly staff. They do carry some highly invasive species like the burning bush that they do not warn you about so please do your research before purchasing.”
“The problem began on a Tuesday night with a door lock issue with the washing machine.
The problem was resolved by Wednesday morning when I had the good fortune of speaking with Chris at Pambis Appliance. He was so patient with me, trying to and succeeding, in helping me out of the situation. He stayed on the phone with me for about 30 minutes and after the settings on the machine were reset, Chris asked me to call him back after running another load of laundry through the washer just to let him know how things turned out.
Honestly, it's rare thing, in these times, to find a business that still cares and goes out of its way to help a stranger. Thanks again Chris.

This is my fourth visit to this Home Depot location, and every experience has been excellent. The staff here are consistently professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Whenever I need information or assistance, they take the time to explain everything from scratch and guide me patiently.
In the past, I have interacted with several staff members, including the manager, and everyone has demonstrated a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Today, I visited to purchase painting materials and was especially impressed by Ms. Susan at the paint counter. She provided outstanding support, clearly explained my options, and helped me choose exactly what I needed within my budget. Her guidance made the entire process easy and stress-free.
This is truly Canadian-style customer service at its best, and I feel proud to shop at this location. Highly recommended. WOW!”

My Flip 5 developed a dead spot which was covered under warranty, I was initially told to wait 4–8 weeks for the parts, but they were available within just 10 days, which was a pleasant surprise. “Been going to 5 home depots for the past 6 months for a major renovation and ranking them all now. Have very mixed reviews for this location but overall good service.
Flooring lady was very patient, gave really good advice and also helped me set up a HD credit card and Pro account.
Most of the other departments had friendly and knowledgeable staff and found the time to help me find the items I needed.
The lumber department was the only department not helpful. Instead of cutting something for me they told me to go look for something else instead and walked away. If I found something more suitable I would have. That was the only negative encounter at this location.”
“I went into the store, looking for a couple of pipe fittings for my shower.
The good: parking is abundant, especially on weekends. The store is very well laid out, and it smells good. I thought so, at least...but then again, Iblodebthr smell of hardware stores, it reminds me of growing up
The staff are really nice, too. They're friendly, affable, and look like they're having fun.
However...finding one of those said staff members can be a challenge. I needed someone, but nobody was to be found. I finally found someone after about ten minutes.
Afterwards, it was a great experience. Drew was amazing. He was funny to chat with, and he knew his stuff. As a fellow forklift operator, it was nice to talk about MHE, even though what I needed really had nothing to do with them.
The lack of staff in store could be attributed to the Christmas holiday break, but it would have been nice to find someone quickly.”

“Went to A&A Appliances on Woddbine north of Danforth and met with Sajad. My washing machine was not draining or spinning out at the end of the cycle. Sajad identified a possible issue and outlined the reasonable cost to fix it. He came to the house within an hour, assessed the problem and fixed it directly. There was another minor issue that he brought to my attention and addressed it as well. Sajad was professional, polite and attended to the problem directly so that we could use the washing machine that very same day for the price that he had quoted. Very satisfied and would use him again for other appliance problems should they arise”
